That’s a give up hire if there ever was won. Again, he’s 2-7 this year, same record as Pruitt who we want to fire. He was 5-7 last year, worse than Pruitt who we want to fire. And he plays in the worst conference in football. This is not a good hire by any discernible measure. The only potential positive would be Arch Manning, and he still wouldn’t come here because we wouldn’t be winning.

Anything less than .500 is absolutely not acceptable in Year 3.

Cut would've been a good option years ago but I don't want him anymore. After Kiffin left after Dooley wouldve been the time to get him for stability. Hes pushing 70 ans has a comfy job at Duke where 4 win seasons won't get him fired. I highly doubt he has the energy to put into what it would take to rebuild this program right now.

I would have taken him instead of Dooley. Not now
