Agreed. You can always inject the bird with tons of butter but there is enough fat to go around for Thanksgiving.

I completely unloaded the fridge, washed the shelves, and reloaded, condensing into smaller containers, etc.

Cooking the turkey carcass now. Turkey soup and turkey tetrazzini on the way!

I'm making turkey tetrazzini tonight! My mom makes an amazing turkey soup. I'm sure she has made some today and put some away in the freezer for me!

We bake our turkey infused with Thai spices & eat it with jasmine rice every year. We prefer this over a traditional TG turkey. My wife makes this sauce that has green chili, ginger, cilantro, and lime. It pairs perfectly with the turkey & rice. We baste the turkey with rice vinegar and inject the bird with seasoned olive oil. Perfect leftovers for days.
