Angle I hadn't thought of - what if the UT Admin actually is silently in favor of this... so that JP gets obliterated in the last 2 games - "forcing" their hand and making the unthinkable in 2020... that much easier for everyone to pallet. - possibly baiting more donor money to the table with a 7 game losing streak.

I'm in the dark about this one. From what it seems, Arkansas can't play this weekend because of COVID, so they are having Vandy play Mizzou (Arkansas's opponent) instead of Tennessee. I guess Mizzou had already had one game canceled because of COVID so they need to play to play to get to 10 games.
The issue now is unless Tennessee is going to play in the third weekend of December, the Vols won't get to 10 games.

They just trying to save TN some embarrassment. SEC does care about TN.

It's the only way either could play on New Years day.

It’s just Arkansas that is under tracing protocol issues. They just decided to make up the oldest postponed game instead of letting UT/Vandy play. I’m not sure I agree with that decision making. Upsets a lot of plans for fans.

This is where I just am not sure how much I can judge this season. What I can judge is Pruitt sticking with JG as a bad sign, but other than that, it’s a weird season. PSU and Michigan having worst seasons ever.
