Amateur Hour Continues

I would guess most politicians would struggle with a Constitution basics test like my 3rd grader aced last month.

Of course some of the ideas I shared with him may not make him very popular with a liberal teacher but thankfully his seemed to be in the same page

What happened to the wig?

I think the process does have to play out for him to be legitimate. I think it will play out. And nobody will be able to complain when it’s over. It’s how things should be handled. Just like in Bush Vs Gore. The system has a job to do and it will get done eventually
Big difference in what’s going on now versus the Bush/Gore situation. But you know this.

Quite a few posters on here would struggle with a test on the Constitution, and several claim to be lawyers.

I still don’t think the plan is to get the courts to do anything. That’s been one institution that has generally continued to function well.
It's not surprising that there's no coherent legal strategy when we've had four years of "tweet first, and figure out the legal details later."

I think the strategy is based around the people who will accept any statement that offers confirmation of what they want as a true statement, even if it’s false. (See e.g. the voter fraud thread and the election thread).

Rile them up, create a loyalty test, and see if the state legislatures will cave to the pressure of a primary challenge in which they aren’t the Trumpiest. Exactly the same model he’s used for the senate since 2018.

FWIW (not much at this point, IMO)

They should take a stand if no fraud is found.
EC should vote the will of the people.

Hopefully they stand by that when the bold happens.
