So it's a proven strategy you're opposed to and not one of the nut jobs that thinks Pruitt is clandestinely working for the state of Alabama to ruin Tennessee football.. 👍
Nope not a Bama plant. I think he is in over his head as a HC...when that happens people panic and go with what familiar....
What other team has proven that strategy successful other then Bama and thier loaded team??? And what year was that???

Not saying Pruitt will be successful but like any head coach, I believe he has a strategy and is trying to build a team to fit that strategy.

But it not a proven strategy by anybody but Bama and they don't even use it anymore....

I'm not privy to the details of his actual strategy/plan for building a team and neither are you. You're opinion of it is NOT fact.

My point is, it's just an OPINION and not fact. I don't agree with your OPINION so let's just agree to disagree..

They said he was Pruitt's second choice last year and could be in the fold after the bye week? Who?

They were talking about Lance Thompson.

The SEC would have to approve his hiring because he has had an NCAA show-cause and the commissioner has to sign off on any coach with a show cause coming into the conference, even if the penalty has expired.

I believe that Thompson will be a candidate in the offseason, but I believe they will wait until the offseason because Lupoi and a couple of other guys that Pruitt has a relationship with may be available in December.

CJP looked good everywhere not just with Saban so I’m not sure if your point. Also so told you where Bo was also held in high regards besides Bama which was Texas.
Still too much baggage and he is a Pruitt contact which appears to not be working out for us well much at the moment. (Ex. Weinke). I would rather see someone get a job on merit than just an old Pruitt acquaintance. It’s similar to nepotism.
