Obviously, he isn't gonna answer, but it's your job to ask. The media has this weird hesitance to ask good questions with Pruitt. Blake is the only one who ever asks questions that aren't just fluff pieces with non answers.

It's possible that Pruitt straight up told them not to ask or he wouldn't be forthcoming in the future.

I mean if Pruitt told them that, then it is also their job to report that he said that.

If they don't, we basically have a bunch of extentions of the AD masquerading as media, and everyone might as well get their news from utsports.com

In other words, I don't believe Pruitt would tell them what questions they are allowed to ask.

Their job is to report on the football team and in order to get that, they need access. There's a reason you don't see hit pieces on coaches very often. UT Football is also a multi-million dollar business that will do whatever it takes to protect it's image. If you think some stuff isn't off limits, then I don't know know what to tell you.

Tbh, I think Pruitt is gonna start JG or BM and if things miraculously stay close he will stick with that QB as long as possible. As soon as it gets 2 to 3 scores he will start rotating QBs to see which 2 he needs to give all the reps to going into the bye week and Arkansas.

I fully expect a different QB than JG to start against Arkansas but I also don't know much.

This is how I feel, I have a 5 year old that I want to sit and enjoy football with. Do I teach him to be a vol fan or another team. I grew up in the glory days like the rest of you guys. But how much heart ache and suffering can one take before saying enough is enough.

My oldest daughter has never seen us beat Alabama, and Florida only once, in her lifetime.

She just rolls her eyes when I talk about the good old days.

So UT can issue ultimatums, pull press passes for reporters asking "the wrong questions", and rule over the media with an iron fist while praying it never gets out they are manipulating the press..

Or

They can just not answer questions they don't want to answer.

Cool conspiracy theory. I'm gonna just stick with the much simpler explanation of them not wanting to deal with the angry bald man.

Whether or not we will ever be back is the one thing I’ve never doubted honestly. We’ll get there again. Idk if it will be in 2 years, 5 years, or 20 years, but we will climb that mountain again someday. No doubt in my mind.

Not in this day and age. All these pressers are by zoom and i just don’t see it as realistic that he told the entire group of reporters anything off the record.

Now it’s possible he shared that with a few reporters off the record but not all them imo
