Not really bold. That’s JG every Saturday. Maybe it’s bold because 0 interceptions.
True I guess it’s because he holds onto the ball too long and then throws it away.JG has the lowest int rate of any QB in school history who has more than 400 attempts. And before anyone says it’s because all his passes are check down dink and dunks, his average yards per attempt is 8.0. For reference, Manning’s was 8.1 for his UT career. JG doesn’t get you beat, he just doesn’t wow anyone with a ton of TDs
Selfishly I hope you’re right. I think I’m as big of a Josh Palmer fan as there is on this board. I think his ceiling is incredibly high and I said he needs to be our go to guy in another thread. Would love to see a 6-8 touchdown season where he has between 750-1000 yards.I like that pick. I would be more likely to say he will lead in catches but not yards. Palmer will edge him. Could have that backwards tho.

The biggest issue is he can get it to the redzone but can’t finish.
JG can’t be compared to Manning in many areas except the one you mentioned. Manning finished with 89 TDs and Guarantano has 32. I’ve seen players with 32 in one season.
Watch the Indiana game if you need reminders of his flaws. Should have won by about 3-4 touchdowns.
Give me your bold predictions for Saturday’s upcoming game at South Carolina.
I’ll start: Defense or special teams will put the first six points of the season on the board.
