It was really cool. I didn't realize where it was though. I had it pictured somewhere out by itself, and its actually right at the top of the chair lift.

But the view is seriously spectacular. Cloud cover was an issue today, but I bet on a clear day its glorious. We're going to try to go back this fall when the leaves change. View attachment 300200

Thanks! I almost always prefer the retro-looking stuff over the modern things. I really love the old UT logo. Fortunately I haven't gotten any bad comments on it, we get tons of Vols in here even though we're in Hokie land.

Finished my landscaping project today. Planted 10 Italian cypress and seeded and mulched a 72 square foot patch of ground left nekid by being underneath the outbuilding which I had moved earlier.
