They switched him to outside linebacker and that is seen by outsiders as acknowledgement from the coaches he can't beat out the others. It is also a bit of a setback I from a learning perspective.
We will. I take that as coach speak...considering we have video of 1 throw (i know just 1) but that one throw was the exact same crap he did last year..mif rather have seen him over throw the guy..at least then it show some anticipation of leading the wr
All these reports sound good, but the story with JG has always been looks better than all the other QBs in practice by far but fizzles under the bright lights with inconsistent play. So it's hard to know how much to believe preseason hype about him. I hope the hype all pans out in actual play, but Im taking a wait 'n see attitude.
He said he was comfortable last year.....he can know the play book inside and out...but if he cant lead a wr..then its all for nothing
Lost me at JG stock up. I've rode this train for 3 years. From D. Ubben, The Athletic

He pats the ball. It pisses me off. I always think of this.IMHO, his inability to lead receiver is all about decision-making. On deep balls you can tell when he sees the open receiver, then you’ll see a couple of hitches, and then he releases an underthrown ball. If he gets to that decision sooner, I think that same ball hits someone in stride.
Can this be fixed? I hope so but am not sure
