Re-infections are always possible. Some people react to things differently. Take me for example I had 3 complete rounds of the Hepatitis A&B vaccines and it never took in my system.

That just means that your body can so easily kick hepatitis’ a$$ that it doesn’t feel the need to build a big defense.

At least that’s what I told myself when I didn’t have a seroconversion after my 3 rounds...🤔

Our VFL immune system is like the 1998 Tennessee defense. 🤠

I'd take a starting 5 of LeBron, Durant, Kawhi, Harden, and Anthony Davis over any 5 dudes from the Dream Team. The increase over time of shooting ability/range, strength, and positional versatility will overcome the "softness" of the modern game. Nostalgia can blind you. If you think that NBA players as a whole were better in the 90s than they are now, you don't watch enough basketball.

I don't think this is special to basketball. The best players now will beat the best players from 20 years ago in any sport. There's just been too much progress in conditioning, specialized skills training, nutrition, and the sheer fact that modern players use the previous generations to build their skill levels. Any decreased physicality from games modernizing, whether for safety concerns or to favor scoring, isn't enough to negate all the other advancements that the last 20 years have blessed us with.

It's amazing the number of people who do not understand this concept. Our personal immune systems are not all the same. Yet, we all have immune systems that can handle various diseases and infections without the use of therapeutics and vaccines.

That's why some of us could walk into a COVID-19 soup tub and not catch it. Yet, the same person might walk into patch of poison ivy and end up in the hospital.

One of those "boys" is unlike the others.

Lol, they kept doing bloods tests on me in the Army because of it.... they came back and they were like uhhh we don’t think we can give you the vaccine anymore...... 😂

I wish I had some Al-Wilson27 anti-bodies. Nothing could infect me.

You can call it fear or whatever but it's his choice. We have all made dumb choices. Just because you've made more than most of us, does not make you an authority.

Just kidding about the last part. I would give you a run for your money with the dumb choices.

Where do we sign up for this competition?

Unfortunately, you don’t know until you get the vaccine.
Getting a vaccine is way, way safer than just going for it...proven over and over again.

So I was in Med school when a teaching hospital made me get the Hepatitis vaccine series. Made me pay for them with money that I had budgeted for food. Damn expensive too.
Then I didn’t have the seroconversion after the 3rd one (had to pay for the lab test too 🤬)
Most disrespectful I ever was to a teaching physician. He just shrugged until I told him that I could only afford to eat every other day to cover the costs that he imposed on me. And I was extremely pissed when I found out that I would get them for free in 18 months.
He offered to pay for my vaccines, but I refused his guilt money. 😈

Well, Then the next 6 Hepatitis vaccines (Free) in residency fail to seroconvert me too.
They finally Gave up.

Another unfortunate misunderstanding is that many people believe it’s random or totally dependent on genetics. There are some very practical steps you can take to boost your immunity. Our government had an opportunity to communicate these steps at a time when many people would have been motivated enough to make drastic changes to their lifestyle and instead we told people to put cloth over their faces. An action with no scientific evidence to support it.

It is my understanding that you are supposed to only have 3 full set tries before the company that made the vaccine states it could be detrimental to your health lol
