my youngest daycare is not open....there are a few daycares that are not open, and when they did open, they shut right back down because someone tested positive for covid. Teachers have made plenty of adjustments.....just because you hate teachers, doesn't mean that need to sacrifice their life or the life of a loved one. That is not what they signed up to do. They signed up to educate. They can do that remotely.
You know what shifts in learning, is that more of the onus is put on the parent. It has been a learning experience for me. I am ok with that....most parents use teachers and school as a daycare and have little involvement with their kids.

That is incorrect. Quit conflating the need to work with using school as daycare

Mine have continued school work all summer. We simply do not have the ability to work and teach full time. It's nearly impossible if you have any work responsibilities at all

It cant be done remotely -- if they dont want to work at a school there are others waiting to replace them

But so many patriots like you are staying in the bunker and only coming out for essential stuff and when you do you are in gull hazmat suit so we should be good soon.

I think we have to, we don't have a choice. If it saves just 1 life. We are all in this together. This is our new normal.

I don’t hate teachers..... I feel this way about any profession.... get to work...... my kids loved the at home schooling bc it is super easy.... I signed the paper to send all four of my kids to in school education if the state will allow it and it’s not bc it is harder on me....I have not missed a single day of work and have worked with covid positive patients....if I can do it.... so can teachers.

I stay in a home, not a bunker. I venture to the store or to pick up food when I need or want to. I work from home, I educate my kids from home.
