Glorious ain't it. What I hope for one day to happen to bamaDisregarding the COVID talk, has anyone else imagined what Volnation would look like if we had Florida’s class? Can you imagine how many people we’d have to talk off the ledge if our recruiting class was like the Gators? Like even after our hot steak in April, we’re still not satisfied.... I can’t imagine what it’d be like if our highest rated commit released a top 6 after committing to us, or one of our best players flipped to Boston College of all places. It would be a shitstorm. I would obviously trade records with them, but it’s truly mind boggling how they have failed to bring in the type of players they usually do after the success they’ve recently had. Idk, Mullen is a good coach, but If you’re winning 10 games a year, you should be locking down top talent... what’s gonna happen when the roster thins out and he’s left to his own players? It’s just crazy that they aren’t locking down top 5 classes

Well that’s fine and dandy. They still don’t protect you 100%. Also, everyone would need to wear them. And KN95s are not the equivalent of an N95.
Also, at $1 you might want to check and see if they are NIOSH approved. If they are not you bought a counterfeit KN95 mask.
Thanks for the info, but you left out the virus and politics talk.“Let’s start along the offensive line where Tennessee would love to start making some moves in the trenches. We feel good about Tennessee’s chances with William Parker but Alabama has made a solid push there as a legit contender for Parker. The biggest question with the Tide will be their numbers as they are set to add some pieces in the offensive line in the coming weeks. Speaking of Alabama, the Vols continue to be high on Rod Orr and the Vols appear to be in good shape there.
We said in the Monday night chat that Tennessee had been having solid dialogue with Diego Pounds and that has continued later in the week. We still think he waits but the talk has been good. Then there is Dietrick Pennington who left the Vols out of his top five but Jeremy Pruitt is not going to go down without a fight. He has taken this one on personally and has been working the Memphis native plenty hard.
On the defensive line, Tennessee has continued to swing on Payton Page. Several Vol assistants have spent hours on the phone this week with Page. We still feel like Clemson would have the advantage at this point but the Vols are working if as hard as possible. Georgia has been pushing hard in the race for Tyrion Ingram Dawkins. They locked in their official but as of now we still feel like it’s the Vols and Cocks, with the in-state school still in front by a nose. Tennessee has also been working defensive lineman Kelvin Gilliam from Highland Springs, Virginia. The Vols offered back in January but recently have engaged him in more serious talks. It’s a name worth keeping an eye on.
Looking at defensive back, Nyland Green has been poised to drop a top 4-5 for a few weeks now. People we have spoken to say it will be a top 5 and the Vols are looking like they will make the cut and have been labeled a dark horse for him.
The Vols would love to get defensive back Damirius McGhee in the boat before too long as they continue to be in a good spot. Tennessee offered Boyd Buchanan tight end Karson Gray this week. It’s just another reason the Vols love the 2022 class in state.
Speaking of the 2022 in-state players, Isaiah Horton has transferred to Oakland from Ensworth to play alongside Jordan James.” The War Room, General's Quarters
i've got a question for you regarding loss of immunity.
so if you contract a 'virus' and it is the flu.
your body develops antibodies but they will not protect you from contracting the flu again, correct?
I need something to show my students how to wear a mask correctly. You got anything doc?Small viruses like influenza can and do mutate. This years influenza strains aren’t the same ones that we will experience next year.
Also, the way the yearly vaccine happens is that as soon as it appears (in Asia), they take the strains to make this year’s vaccine. Variable response to the vaccine depends upon a multitude of factors including the strains that they used may or may not be the most virulent, just the first strains appearing, how early you receive the vaccine, your individual response to the vaccine, etc.
There are years that the influenza spread seems to be bimodal with many late season cases even in the vaccinated...that could easily be from a later strain that hadn’t appeared when the vaccine was started.
The Corona virus is a larger virus, therefore less mutagenic ability and better chance of long term vaccination success.
For instance, when my wife first started practice, she was getting all the common cold (Corona) whenever exposed. Now 20 years into her practice, she doesn’t catch anything from her patients. She has pretty much developed immunity to all the seasonal viruses. One of her older partners hasn’t caught anything from a patient in over 20 years. No matter how careful you are as a Pediatrician, you’re exposed to multiple communicable virues daily if not hourly.
I hope that rambling answer helps.

I get your point but there is no data at all that would support that if he had worn one, he would not have died. Very sorry it happened, regardless.Article today about a 37 year old Veteran from OH that actively posted not doing a mask, blah, blah early in pandemic. Died July 7 of Covid. Friends are warning others. Is 37 “young”?
