The fact that some of y'all think it's awesome for people to literally be kidnapped by the police is scary. Y'all would've loved the Gestapo and NKVD back in the day.

Nope. The catalyst is the fact that cops at their core are evil and unnecessary. This another example of that.
 
You know, if you don't ask any questions, Miranda doesn't apply.

There are a lot of other exceptions to the use of Miranda. Perhaps you might educate yourself on some of them?
I know a guy who wrote an appeal where he compared Miranda to the den of thieves from Arabian Nights. You’ve got to know the magic phrase.

The court ignored his argument but denied the State’s application for interlocutory appeal based on his other argument: that there was still enough evidence to convict his client. “Justice” is weird like that.
