Seems like the type of situation where not all who get picked up are always destined for a courtroom.

It wonโ€™t be a local court room and it may be a couple weeks before that phone call to a lawyer gets made. They donโ€™t play. We do not want the federal police force. Itโ€™s the worst thing that can happen. And defunding the police is the only invitation they need to โ€œrestore orderโ€.

They are sworn to defend the constitution against all enemies both foreign and domestic. Think about what that means if youโ€™re considered an enemy of the constitution. Like those who think rioting is protesting.
I hope Iโ€™m wrong but I believe the hammer is coming and it wonโ€™t be leaving any time soon.

I was watching some videos about it. One guy looked genuinely concerned for the future of anyone they pick up. It was chilling.

The fact that some of y'all think it's awesome for people to literally be kidnapped by the police is scary. Y'all would've loved the Gestapo and NKVD back in the day.

The fact that some people don't care about kids being murdered and businesses being destroyed and instead act like the people doing so are somehow the victim is scary.

This isnโ€™t the police. Itโ€™s homeland security.
This is a horrible day for liberty and freedom. A federal police force is a scary horrible thing being brought to us by defunding the police. Nobody in this conversation thinks its a good thing

Since you're being so sassy I don't think you realize there's no difference between "homeland security" and the police. This is exactly the reason why it's necessary to defund the police, they're using Gestapo tactics to oppress anyone who doesn't align with the government's views. And if you think no one in this conversation thinks it's a good thing you should check the posts of @Electric Orange

Thereโ€™s a huge difference between HS and the local police.
Youโ€™re blind if you think that the police can be defunded and the feds wonโ€™t step in.
How exactly do you plan on defunding the HS whoโ€™s budget is โ€œuncapped โ€œ?
