George Floyd Protest/Riots

On race issues they certainly were
Oh dear heavens. All my family from Memphis, Halls, Ripley, are democrats, life long. I've never seen such blatant racism in my life. I am talking about great uncles and aunts, my grandmother who lived through the 20's. I used to think why my aunt spoke about black people the way she did, all the black people I came in contact with were nice. Her heart is dark and remains the same today.
The democrats of the 20's were not Republicans.

I mean, he admitted to getting his history from a TV show. I'm not sure how much more epically one could fail. But if he wants to keep digging, I guess we'll find out.

Erm. The fact that I heard of one particular incident on TV because it was literally left out of history books doesn't say s***. I've actually studied quite a bit. On the ground for months at a time in Colonial Williamsburg, all over Europe, and even Turkey. But cool keep being a d*** about it

I bet the Turks' latrines were nasty.

Obviously there are plenty of racist Democrats, esp. older ones that were around before Goldwater and LBJ. But ties to the black community on issues across the board flipped after civil rights legislation, and the NAACP and black groups have been tied to the Democratic party ever since. I ain't even saying that the Democrats have done a good job on civil rights issues. I'm just saying where the lines have been drawn politically.

lmao I'm not the one being a dick. Not my fault you made an erroneous claim and then kept digging that hole. Not sure how presenting the facts to your inaccuracies qualifies as me being the ass hole here.

You should research as to why this is. I'll give you a hint as to where to start, start at how the money flows.

Side A. You shouldn't hold a campaign rally at the site of the largest racial violence incident in American history on Emancipation day.

Side B. You're crazy. Wow what kind of idiot would even post this. Reeeeally reaching here.

Like really guys lol

The Dems seem to be harping on the same issues for 60 years. They have been in control of about all cities for decades. Chicago has 50 Wards, represented by 46 Dem Councilmen and 4 Independents, yet they keep trying to tell their constituents that the Republicans are the problem, even though there isn't even one Republican in any position of power in Chicago city government. Could it be that they want the issue rather than the solution?

You'd probably be surprised to hear this but I grew up listening to conservative talk radio, so I'm well aware of all the corruption from black leaders in the community like Sharpton and co. I don't like politicians lol At least not most of the ones in the country.

Neo Nazis .. is that a cover all for when I don’t like what you say I’m going to label you a bad name ? Dude you are the equivalent of a male Karen . This isn’t twitter and nobody is getting fired for expressing their opinions on something affecting the whole of the country .
I remember when he said “90% of all Americans” agree with him on some such nonsense then stated the majority of conservatives (50% of country) were racist nazis. 😂😂😂

My question and 72 touched on the subject, why do black people feel tied to the democratic party? From the outside looking in the Democrats have done little to nothing for black people except use them for their votes.

Obviously I got the date part wrong but it only makes the rally slightly less stupid*
Not really. The location only matters if you buy into this belief that Trump is a "white supremacist". Would you have the same reaction to Biden, or any white person, having a rally in Tulsa? Should white people just avoid Tulsa in general? You made an absurd assertion and got called on it. Just own it and let it go.

Amazing, isn't it? Like Trump said....."vote for me. What have you got to lose?"

I can agree with not liking politicians. I don't trust them.
