The Official 2nd Amendment Appreciation Thread

I'm located in Hawkins Co., but I got mine at buds in Sevierville. They only had one BTS and three DF12, they said more was on the way. The guy talked like they was pretty popular. With everything going on, all the gun stores are having trouble getting or keeping anything it seems.

Gotta love the panic shoppers

Picked up the new drop in trigger system from nighthawk custom. Pretty straight forward Install. Gives a pretty good drop in 4lb trigger for your 1911. Gonna take it out tomorrow and run 500 rounds through it and see what happens. I think it looks pretty good and what’s not to like about a crisp 4lb trigger for a 1911.

Well bought a Hellcat tonight. I'll let the wifey decide which one to carry (365 or this) and I'll carry the other.

It is time

Don't laugh, but ANY idea where I can find a good tactical 18.5" 12g? Love the Moss 590a1, something along those lines.

Buy a regular shotgun and the buy a extension magazine tube and your choice of furniture. You’ll spend about the same and be set up the way you want.

Edit: Remington 870 is your friend

Got this not long ago at Franklin Gun Shop. They had good selection a few weeks ago. Most places I have seen tactical shotguns in stock are selling for a little above retail because demand is that high.

I bought an 870 police magnum at GTs in Rossville just outside of Chattanooga for 235$ in near perfect condition. I also bought an 870 reserve magnum there about a year ago for 200$.

Yup. I’ve got two 870’s myself. One all dressed up with side saddle and surefire fore end light (weighs a ton) and one plain Jane model with a regular wood stock no bells and whistles. Guess which one I shoot most, the lighter one.
I wish I could run into some of that pricing around here. I guess once things calm back down the prices will as well.

I have 7 870s in various calibers and styles. they are all set up for different things ranging from home defense , hunting different things and skeet shooting. I’m not sure which is the favorite

You weren’t kidding when you said you were addicted lol
I like shotguns. Lol
To be fair a couple of them are reds. And that list didn’t include the others. (I would need to count but I think I have 15 shotguns) my absolute favorite being a Remington model 11 my grandfather bought new in 1932. I shoot skeet with it some. It’s still flawless

Nothing wrong with that. I had 16 M1 Garands at one time. The market changed on them and I decided to make some money. My granddad always said, As long as you have guns and property you have money.

The m1 grand has eluded me so far. It’s on the list but I want it to be one that killed nazis......personal reasons

Look up the civilian marksmanship program when you decide to buy. The prices in gun shops these days are insane. You can get a solid nazi killing M1 for around $700 or so. Well worth the trip to Anniston Alabama.
