I think you are misinterpreting both of those elections. The evil faceless system elected Obama on purpose, and then used his white half to control him and keep the Super Secret Racist Fun Club intact.

On a serious note, I'd posit that Obama's election represented herd immunity for racism in America.

You'd have to argue everyone that voted for him certainly has no desire to enable a system that holds down people of color. Of the ones that voted against him, a large portion voted against him for pure political reasons, not racial. So at best you have some small portion that voted against him due to race.

So then you have a populace that is large enough and runs the gamut of private and public sector occupations. Bankers, professors, cops, lawyers, business owners, teachers, etc. At that point you dont have the ability to infect systemic racism on level that is detrimental to a large qty of people.

There’s now a video circulating of a group of “National Guard” soldiers in California kneeling to support the protests. They say that the devil is in the details and darn those pesky little military details, you’d think a Hollyweird costume department should know better.

Biggest clue to fakeness, the unit patch on the actor located at the nearest right side in the video. When did we deploy the 1st ID to the protests and when did BRO become a National Guard Unit? I hope somebody gives FT. Riley a courtesy call about losing their Division.

I don’t know about some of those Alvin , I’ve had a Drivers license since I turned 16 , I’ve driven on the road probably more than 90% of the population and I still look in my rear view when a cop slides behind me . That’s not a color thing it’s a $ thing . I’ve been in places that’s asked me to remove my hat before I was allowed to come in to the establishment and I know for damn sure I don’t dress “ good enough “ to eat in some uptown places in cities like NY . Lastly if the bank you do business at calls the cops on you for taking out $200 when you have $10k available.. you need a new bank . I mean the teller can see your account .

Guarantee if it wasn't for the riots and looting this story would've died over the weekend. Every. Single. Time. Something like this happens people talk about how terrible it is, quote MLK Jr., talk about how we must listen to each other and how we must come together. Then absolutely nothing happens that would prevent it from happening again in the future and everyone goes back to their lives.

If only there was a peaceful protest 4 years ago! Oh wait...that happened and it was completely blown off because precious flag > human life. When you don't listen and do something when they're protesting peacefully you'll damn sure listen and do something when they're destroying your city.

Ferguson wasnt peaceful. Baltimore round 1 or 2 wasnt peaceful. LA wasnt peaceful. Seems like plenty of destruction was ineffective as well
