George Floyd Protest/Riots

I think "the narrative" of BLM is much broader than "the raw number of unarmed black men killed by police in 2019", but much like the mischaracterization of "only Black Lives Matter", that kind of reductionism is a common tactic

Well it has to be. Use of data would show how fraudulent their cause is.

I think it's naive to pretend racism isn't still a problem, but it's also absurd to automatically assume every negative interaction between whites and blacks is racism. That's not true either.

OK. Which would you do first: lecture them on structural integrity or put out the damn fire?
Well if it’s your house or any white guilt pro antifa lib (not that I believe you all own a house or anything of value for that matter) I would sit back and laugh as it burned just like you all are burning liberal commie led cities all over the country

Well the narrative has killed more than 9 people in the "protests". Including at least 3 black men, so I think we are past overdue to get down to the raw numbers here.

And the claim that a white nationalist policing system is murdering black people in the streets is on the BLM website.

You said broad. You meant vague.

Don't keep it vague. Are you saying the truth of the BLM movement transcends the truth of a crime database implemented by President Obama?

As much as I’d love to value the opinion of a middle aged white man living in suburbia when he says that systemic issues don’t exist, they most certainly do.

“Systemic issues “ exist for everyone . There’s always issues with the system . Now that we established that the question is what are you going to do about it ? Every person in this country has choices , stop using excuses as a reason for where you are as a person . If we stop telling people they can’t do something or be anything they want to be they will stop believing it . The hardest thing to change is culture . This is the freest country on the planet , there’s not a single person that can’t be whatever they want . You don’t like living in the ghettos of NYC, Chicago , Baltimore, LA... MOVE THE HELL AWAY FROM THERE . why would anybody choose to live in a place ( city ) they can’t afford to live in ? It’s stupid to me .

As far as the big city protests go, I guess I am to the point of not caring. I dont live in one of those shytholes. The mayors and governors dont want to do anything and are probably hoping to entice Trump to use his trigger finger. So if the citizens dont care enough to motivate their elected leaders, why should I.

Concerning the ugly concept of racism. I bet there is not one white man on this board that will walk down the street of a black neighborhood.
I would and I have. Ive also been to the projects downtown in a major US city as myself and the 3 other members of my family are the only whites within 50 miles
