It’s douchey to to say “black lives matter” in response to police brutality when it affects EVERYONE. Contrary to some popular belief people aren’t targeted and discriminated against simply because of the color of their skin but that’s the smokescreen that’s allows them to loot, vandalize, riot, and harm actually innocent people.

Here in America, though, we absolutely do overcharge it’s usually based on the intent to manipulate emotions, and you don’t walk of you win on the overcharged crime. The jury gets to consider lesser crimes as well.
