I just want to know why it's so hard for some to understand the peaceful part. Do I agree with the protest no. But by all means do what you want but when it comes to violence and the destruction of American cities then someone needs to take controlThe first amendment guarantees the right to peacefully protest.
Looting and rioting isn’t peaceful. I have absolutely no problem with the peaceful protesters, but the ones who are looting, burning down buildings, and assaulting innocent people are no better than the tyrant cop who murdered George Floyd and if you support these rioters then you are no better than the 3 cowards that stood there and watched.
‘After George Floyd’s Murder, I Am Calling For a Declaration of a State of Emergency for Black People’
Yeah.......shove it, you racially pushing agenda driven twit.Public service LOL for 25 years........
"Systemic change would look like making sure that every dollar that we spend—whether as the state, the county, or the federal government—that it has an equity framework that is intended to help the most marginalized people.
I want to end with a message for black women: Figure out a self-care plan. Please nourish your own bodies. Breathe. Be in network and communication with your friends and your family. Set up pods, within the restrictions of the coronavirus, that you can use for support."
Jibber jabber political lip service....same 'ol same 'ol.
LOL.If I remember correctly bc I saw it near the end.... he shared a pic of himself hanging a tv in tighty whities in the basketball forum.
Lulz, sure... Yet here you are, responding to my nonsense.Your posts are as nonsensical as trumps decision to use the bible as a symbol of moral authority after he just used his brownshirts to curb stomp a bunch people excercising their Constitutional rights.
Your whataboutisims about pelosi's photo op aren't helping you as much as you think, but congratulations on trump emulating and channeling his inner pelosi. Apparently the bar you've set is LOW.
Who opposes them protesting?
But looting and vandalizing and acting out violently is not protesting. That's called criminal activity. Very big difference between the two.
The reason people mention MLK is because he did it the right way, and wouldn't you know, he actually accomplished change.
Outstanding, young man!!Yeah, I posted a picture of a TV I mounted in the bedroom. You could see me wearing nothing but Flash-themed briefs in the reflection in the mirror behind the TV. It was legendary because of how many people didn't see it the first time they looked. Someone caught it and then all hell broke loose.
I've not read every post, but I've not seen anyone opposed to the peaceful protests. Is this a serious question?
There is a big difference between the two, but they are still forms of protest (that you oppose). Legality doesn't determine whether it's an act of protest or a crime. It can be both or neither.
Who is to say the more radical protesters didn't help accomplish that change. The narrative might be that we give all the credit to MLK, but the truth is there were all forms of protest leading up to the changes that followed. The point of protest is it's supposed to be uncomfortable.
Dude. You were responding to someone's critiques of not following a story with this story, and fell into the same trap. Dont get butthurt because you got a taste of your own medicine.
