64% of Americans sympathetic to protesters; 55% reject Trump stance

Almost two-thirds of American adults were “sympathetic to people who are out protesting right now,” while 27% said they were not and 9% were unsure, according to a Reuters/Ipsos poll conducted Monday and Tuesday. More than 55% of Americans said they disapproved of Trump’s efforts, including 40% who “strongly” disapproved, while just one-third said they approved. That's lower than his overall job approval of 39%, the poll showed.

Trump thinks he's coming off as strong. In reality, most people recognize that his threats of sending in real military troops would result in a huge backlash. The paper tigers mews as usual.

No. Opposing ANTIFA makes you not only an American, but not dumb.

But I'm not sure why we are talking about ANTIFA. I've read on this board that its just a right wing boogeyman made up of just a few people posting on the internet and no one on the left has every heard of them before.

Some conservatives on VN keep obsessing about Antifa. They are the ones who can't shut up about them.

Thats an interesting statistic. I bet 19 of those deaths received zero media coverage outside of local. But 9 of them were shoved down our throat to push a media narrative. The number SHOULD be zero however as they were all unarmed but that is a utopia we will never achieve. There is a problem but its not a prevalent race problem more of a power trip by police problem. They feel like they are right 100% of the time no exceptions. Would be interesting to see of those 28 deaths how many charges were brought against the officer(s) involved.
