George Floyd Protest/Riots

Watched the Lafayette video.. there should have been bullhorns used to instruct the crowd to relocate from the beginning of the skirmish line form up

1) don’t throw things at cops and the military and expect good responses
2) do none of these folks have a clue..MP’s in rebreathers is a fairly solid sign you won’t enjoy what’s coming up
3) lots of sneezing and burning eyes but I didnt see anyone puking so that’s a strong lean towards pepper and not tear gas
4) flash bangs are supposed to be scary
5) horses are much larger than you are, it’s wise to move out of their way
6) it’s hard to take you seriously when your chant of choice was debunked already and you don’t appear to know that
7) don’t get so upset when a person in a military uniform ignores your demands to get on their knees🤦‍♀️ News flash..not gonna happen, and if it does there damn well better be some UCMJ responses to it

Side note: the voice of the loud girl after the first 15 minutes had me wanting to claw my ears off. I feel sympathy for the folks standing within earshot of that for more than a minute.
I bet you are one of the people on here who doesn't want anyone, including the Gov't, touching your 2A "rights", but at the same time you have no issue with them stomping on people's 1A rights. You people do see the hypocrisy here, right?

You can pretend all you want. You clearly live in a world of make believe
I know right?

It’s not like it’s preserved in writing.
Or that three people thought the same thing.
Or that you tried arguing with them about it.
Or that you tried to bring up other instances of violent protest.
Or that you tried to minimize the force employed against the protest.
And if any of those things did happen, they’re just coincidence.

I totally took your comments out of context. Clearly, it was my mistake. I’d have to be living in a complete fantasy land to think you were doing anything other than explaining why Trump had peaceful protestors dispersed with tear gas and rubber bullets, so he could walk across the street and stand awkwardly next to the Church for less than five minutes before walking back without talking to anybody from the church, saying a prayer, or looking at the damage.

🤐👌👍

freedom of speech, or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the government for a redress of grievances

Peaceably to assemble...Hurling projectiles of any kind pretty much negate it being further qualified a peaceable. You must have missed that part of the video.

Which video? In the one I posted, I must have missed it too.

At about 4:00 you can see Barr come down. He apparently gave the order so unsure if it happened then or not. But the first time I notice officers holding batons was shortly afterwards. Up to that point I saw a bunch of pointing, rude hand gestures, and two objects, maybe water bottles, on the ground in between that had been there the whole time.

At maybe 20-25:00 the officers move up and eventually get to the fence. Nothing thrown and no new objects on the ground at that point.

From 25-30:00 most people are on their knees with their hands raised. The few people still standing are agitated but I didn’t see anything thrown.

At 30:00 they start getting gassed and hit with sticks.

The only evidence I saw of anything being thrown was the debris on the ground that was there at the start of the video.

No, and people need to stop trying to give Kaepernik credit. That fool was getting paid millions to play professional football and insisted on "protesting" during the national anthem while he was on the pay clock. The timing of what Kaepernick was doing couldn't have been more inappropriate.

Imagine being outraged about being moved off a park while your voters and comrades in the protest burn down black businesses and murder 3 black cops...so far.

Your outrage is duly noted that Reverend Rottencrotch and her band of rioters were asked to move and then rightfully gassed off the lawn.

"Reverand Rottencrotch" was on the terrace of her church.

Amazing how the Constitution and its protections are important to your ilk, until it's not. I'm sure you will circle back around when it's politically expiedient.

You just have your priorities mixed up.

Yes, getting a photo op at a church is way more important than protecting 1a rights.

Fiscal conservatism is dead and now constitutional conservatism is dying. What's left?

What video?

Painting every protester at every protest as violent is a convenient argument to justify the quashing of dissent, but it's bullsht.

Seems like I’ve seen this movie before .. One or two loud speakers , a recording studio , a compound , a really big bowl of kool aid ( just in case) and Voila.

White supremacists don’t wear skinny jeans and eat soy

I’ve been protecting the reputations of white supremists. It’s been said they eat sh!t and bark at the moon. I said it’s not true. They don’t bark - - they lay on their couches and lick their b*lls. Every once in a while one will fall off and break their neck.

And why will the media not ask them? Are those not the rules? They demand Trump answer for imaginary crimes committed by his supporters, but not actual crimes by theirs
The media won’t ask them because the pro antifa dems and their media don’t care about black lives they only way when they can blame the death on a white cop

Exactly. He finds them to be violent protests because he does not like what they are protesting and they don't look like him.

The ultimate hypocrisy. "Don't touch my 2A rights, but that 1A, now that's a different story."

That’s what a crowd of bnhunts looks like....with a couple of zepps and bowlbros sprinkled in.... being led by evillaw
I've seen what crowd of yous looks like, it's why the country is in this current situation. I bet you honestly can't understand what the outrage is over what the cops did to Floyd.

If the military is deployed to squash the people exercising there 1A, it will be fascinating to watch them struggle with their justification of people not exercising their 2A against the government tyranny they were once so worried about.
