Latest Coronavirus - Yikes

I agree China screwed the pooch and lied. The virus is what the virus is. At this point it doesn’t even matter. And it’s ignorant to claim they are responsible for “all” the deaths.

The virus itself is just doing what viruses do. I think China acted criminally so I do think they are guilty of all the deaths.

In performing a criminal act, the criminal is also responsible for the side effects of their actions.
If you were being pursued in a high speed chase and the cop following you t bones someone and they are killed, you would be charged with their death.

How is this different?

You think nothing should happen to them? No harm, no foul?

If it came out of the lab as reported from negligence China is responsible for every single death. Them lying, the WHO lying allowed it to become world-wide.

Gretchen Whitmer is a tyrant. Plain and simple. States need to let the next couple of months play out before making drastic economic decisions that will impact the people and the state.

The Detroit Loins won't be filling stadiums. It has nothing to do with Covid19.

I'm enjoying seeing this. Nothing will red pill someone quicker than telling them they have to sit in their house the next 9 months.

Thanks for the chuckle.

The only government you should be angry with is the Chinese Communist Party.

You've been had. You believe the deflection. That's on you.
Please explain what I believe and how I've been had. I'm very interested to hear this

I gave you a like but honestly this is not the time to worry about fiscal responsibility. The government, that includes Trump and Republicans got us in this mess by acting like pansies and licking the country down. Now they have to get us out.

They have to spend whatever it takes to do so. I don’t want to hear about debt or anything else because the national debt is nothing but a number. So everyone gets another shopping $1200? Wow. That’s going to do what the last $1200 did absolutely nothing. All of our politicians can go straight to hell. They don’t have to worry because their lofty salaries are guaranteed by the sweat and blood of those they are actively screwing over.

I voted for Trump but not sure I can support him licking me down. Now, Ivanka....

Same. I also work longer and honestly, I'm probably getting more done. I log on first thing in the morning, and stay logged on all day until bed. I'm continually checking all day. All told I'm online maybe 17 hours and logging a good 10-11 hours of actual work without even thinking about it. It's also cheaper for me to stay at home. If wasn't having to homeschool my kid there would nothing bad about any of this.

There is talk at the top of my company about making this permanent for some people. The company saves on infrastructure costs and there were some general managers actually reporting numbers that they were more efficient during this lockdown.
My company was already moving more and more towards people working from home. In most cities we have gone to hoteling where no one has an office or cubicle anymore. Everyone works from home but there are work stations for those that choose to come in. You have lockers for your personal items and there are tons of conference rooms if all sizes for any private conversations as the work stations don’t have walls between them. We’ve reduced real estate expenses about 30% iirc, which is huge when you have several hundred people working in cities like NYC, Chicago, etc.

Fauci has gone insane. China and the DNC must be lining his pockets like crazy.

Did anyone say, well we can’t wait for a vaccine that might never come, so how do we reopen all states safely starting now? Some cities may need to remain shut down but there’s no need for entire states to do so. I didn’t watch it but the impression I get is that you are either good with reopening now or you want to remain shut down indefinitely. Instead of both sides posturing for political points they should work together to figure out a plan that maximizes economic recovery and minimizes lives lost. There’s no way we can stay shut down for months so the next logical question should be how do we reopen as safely as possible? Hopefully that question was masked and answered.

Pennsylvania Health Secretary offers guidance for nursing homes, governor insists on gradual reopening

HARRISBURG, Pa. (WHTM) — Nearly 70% of Pennsylvania’s Covid-19 deaths, 2611 of 3806, have occurred in nursing homes or long-term care facilities. State Health Secretary Dr. Rachel Levine announced new guidance for those facilities on Tuesday to include more resources, education, and mass testing.

“By testing every resident and every staff member in every nursing home, we will be able to pinpoint exactly who has Covid-19, who has been exposed but has no symptoms, and cohort positive cases to prevent further spread,” Levine said, adding that the state will also require nursing homes to report all cases and deaths which will be available publicly.

While Levine beefs up rules and oversight at nursing homes and long-term care facilities, ABC27 learned the health secretary’s mother recently vacated a personal care home in the Midstate.

“My mother requested, and my sister and I as her children complied to move her to another location during the Covid-19 outbreak,” Levine said. “My mother is 95 years old. She is very intelligent and more than competent to make her own decisions.”

Why not leave her there? We know why.
