@k-town_king Still waiting on your proof that according to the "traditional" QBR... JG wasn't exactly what I said in the Red Zone. This is another chance for you to man up and simply admit you were wrong and JG indeed struggled badly.

I will take a second to bless you with knowledge.

JG looked better in every game but UGA.

QBR is bull though. It had JG higher vs UGA when that was the ONE game BM actually played ok.

I know why though. In actual game time that counted JG was 1/1 with a big completion. The last drive is considered garbage time and did not count as much.
So you believe the offense moved better with JG vs MSU and Bama? It’s becoming harder and harder to take you seriously because it seems once you see the stats you create a new game of events in your own head. There was ONE game that JG LOOKED better and that game was UK after BM wasn’t granted a fair opportunity to “knock off the rust”. I’m not going to keep engaging you. I literally feel dumber after reading your every response.

I have a couple of thoughts after reading this thread.

1. I won't engage in an argument with K-town....it makes me feel like I'm picking on a special needs kid in school. He is way to infatuated with JG to be rational. It reminds me of those girls who become obsessed with convicted felons in prison. Simply Unnatural.

2. In regards to JGs potential for next year, I'll just say You can't spell "JG SUCKS" without JG.
This reply sucks as well, weak stuff here.

Wait. So now ESPN is just fine? It isn't the "traditional" method?

Why don't you be honest just ONCE? The only "system" you like is the one that supports your narrative and THEN only when it supports it. You are a fundamentally dishonest person.

Also, this doesn't compare him. Where is the comparison with the rest of the SEC? The numbers don't mean anything without something to make a relative comparison to.

Oh, and according to statcat, JG had more time to throw in the RZ than ANY other SEC QB.

I wouldn't try to punch above my weight class either.

So you watch all the SEC games each week? I guess not if you think that.

Its quarterback rating or passer rating. It has always been referred to as quarterback rating.
Passer rating - Wikipedia
Passer rating (also known as quarterback rating, QB rating, or passing efficiency in college football) is a measure of the performance of passers

Quarterback rating always refers to passer rating or quarterback rating. Whatever term you prefer. It is never used when referring to QBR as he suggested. QBR does not stand for quarter back rating. ESPN who created it says it is Total Quarterback Rating. A completely different thing.

Here is ESPNs link to QBRs
2019 NFL Season Leaders Total QBR | ESPN

Notice is says "NFL Total QBR"

Now here are passing stats from ESPN. Not that they have QBR and Rating side by side.
2019 NFL Player Passing Stats | ESPN

Separate stats. Qb rating is the traditional stat that has always been referenced when discussion the qb rating.

QBR is a new ESPN stat that is very flawed. You're welcome.
Lol. You’re still incorrect my friend. P.S. don’t use Wikipedia as a source

He’ll be asked to be the game manager so his stats will look ok. I’ll be extremely disappointed however if he is still the starting QB at the end of the season because I just don’t think we improve offensively if that is the case.

JG won't have Calloway and Jennings to bail him out on some of these badly thrown balls, this padding JGs statline this year.

For you stay people ....I threw zero interceptions last year and had zero incompletions. Guess I'm a top tier QB too.

Why not? Do you really not think that if our overall team improves, if our running game improves, everyone on the team improves but you think JG can't improve? I just don't see it that way, I think they all continue to improve.

With the way we're recruiting and the way we finished out the season, I'm starting to believe more and more in the potential of JG's senior season. There's not a lot of proven high-quality talent at the QB position in the SEC this year, and I believe that with another year under Chaney and Weinke, JG could have a breakout senior season akin to Crompton's senior season with Kiffin. What are your thoughts on JG's potential for this season? I think he ends up top-5 in the SEC this year (given, a lot of that is due to a lack of high-end competition such as Burrow and Tua).

Being in the same system with the same OC for 2 consecutive years for the first time should help. Will it help him process quicker and get rid of the ball faster? One would think. We’ll see.

Jason Campbell had a similar experience at Auburn, then put it all together his senior year because he finally had continuity at OC. Let’s hope the same is true for JG. He has the physical ability and toughness.

Falsely accusing someone of something is novel coming from you as well.
:D:D:D

You're a little too sensitive on that subject... aren't you? You had a great opportunity to separate yourself from that "other" poster... and chose to defend "him" in words that sound like "his".

If you don't want to be accused of being "him" then stop acting and posting so much like "him".
