'19 CA QB JT Daniels (Georgia commit)

Gonna have to call BS on JG's fumble "costing us the game" against Bama.

Hahahahaha where were you sitting? the nose bleeds?...we had momentum swinging our way until he did what he did and it put them up even further..Bama had zero answers, our defense was shutting them down you can’t dispute that..go back and watch that game up until that point..completely different team because they knew what JG did wasn’t the call made..trey smith our beloved “Veteran Starter” on the Oline said he didn’t want to talk about it because he knew and you know it’s even worse when you apologize to the whole locker room..thing is JG has been scrutinized his whole career and if he was the one to finally beat bama after sucking for so long he would have gotten the praise..instead of thinking about the team he wanted that moment for himself...when have you ever seen a QB go over the top of his offensive line to streach the ball out over the goal line under center?...that play was designed for Q couch to follow behind trey smith leading the way and it was WIDE OPEN!.those are facts

Ehh, it didn't help. As much as any one single play in the middle of a game can have an effect on the outcome, that one really stands out as a strong candidate. We're talking the difference in being down 28-20 versus being down 35-13 on the road against the #1 team in the country. It is impossible to say it definitively cost us the game, but we went from having a good shot at winning to having no shot in a matter of 15 seconds.

So what would the score have been if JG doesn’t fumble and the play was ran as it was intended to?

EXACTLY!! Not even mentioning the touchdown they screwed us out of! And think if warrior was fast enough to not get caught from behind👀🤷🏽‍♂️🤐 I’m just sayin they were calling BS on us all night and we lost a lot of key position players on defense and Pruitt being as pissed as he was knew the fix was in and it transferred over to the players and they were locked in and the whole stadium was slowly witnessing a comeback at their own home “Woodstock” disco light show.

If I’m not mistaken 20 to 28 verses 35 to 13 on the road at bama and if you’re going to say “yea but we would have still been behind” factor the touchdown they cheated us out of and if warrior didn’t get “hawked” down from behind🤔 I know those are things we or the players can’t control but I’m just sayin the game was winnable with the momentum being sucked out of that stadium slowly as quarters were running out and if we would have scored that touchdown they would have been punched in the mouth by a team that hasn’t done it in 10 years...straight evaporated🔥🔥🤘🏽

Hope we get him then Shrout and Maurer transfer and then JG rides bench all year

In this scenario, JG can be the experienced, seasoned backup. Bailey isn’t thrown to the wolves with zero spring practice and can still play up to 4 games and redshirt. He obviously can play and even start, if he’s that good as a true freshman. Not a bad situation at all.

U guys are crazy he would arguably be the highest rated qb to come here since Peyton Manning he’s really supposed to sophomore anyway gotta remember he reclassified to play early at usc why the hell would u not take him. Get him back in with tee and u got Chaney he can’t do nothin but go up from here

So we would have still been down a score. Was the game winnable? You can say yes if it makes you feel better but it really wasn’t. We were not winning that game.

Again someone stating opinion as if it were fact. Whether we win or not, no one could say. What is known is that JG's decision eliminated the chance we had. For an objective person that fact is sufficient.

Why the heck wasn't it winnable? Down 8 with the momentum, and 7+ minutes to play. Any reasonable fan would take that scenario on the road against the #1 team in the country. No one would call it a lock, but to call it unwinnable is beyond stupid.

So because we were down against Florida in 04’ @ Neyland stadium James wilhoit couldn’t redeem himself to beat Florida after missing a crucial PAT?...Or Dobbs throwing a Hail Mary @ Georgia making them pay for a crucial 15 yard unsportsmanlike penalty after the touchdown to put us in a “winning” situation where he could launch it and it reach the end zone?..what is your logic?..point is comebacks happen and the game was just as winnable as those two..down 8 with PLENTY! Of time left but once they ran it back for 98 yards to put them up 35 to 13 yea you’re right and that can’t be disputed.

And the BS personal foul call on Darrell Taylor. Still pissed about it. We had all the momentum.

Same!..the fix was in and Pruitt knew it...after that, the team was locked in by Pruitts emotional frustration in the game and the fact it was close..entirely different team when it was close

Pruitt went into that game a Bama boy but left a TN boy. I really think that's when things changed

"Cost us the game" is when the game is in hand, or close to it. Guarantano made a bad play in that spot that put the game out of reach, but saying it "cost us the game" is unreasonable.

Best case scenario after that play, we are still down 28-19, on the road, to the #1 team in the country, without Bituli, halfway through the 4th quarter. What would be the win expectancy, down by a touchdown and still needing a PAT, a TD, a 2-pt conversion, and a defensive shutout just to tie the damn game? 5% 10%? 20%? It didn't help, but certainly didn't "cost us the game."

You know what else cost us a remote CHANCE at winning the game? Bituli foolishly targeting and missing the 2nd half. Toots foolishly targeting the prior game and missing the 1st half. A backup LB getting drunk and disorderly and released from the team. Wright and Calbert both getting penalties inside the 10 yard line on the same drive. Crappy punting. You get the idea...
