If you dare to even mention the dire economic consequences of essentially breaking the economy's legs, you're just a heartless bastard. And at that point the possibility of rational discussion is gone.

Please keep an eye on Sweden. That's the only way I am aware we can actually compare two similar countries with different approaches.

We are on the same page there. Watching Sweden with an eagle eye. IHME has them projected at 18,000 deaths. Well above projections of Norway and Denmark.

They're saving the economic consequences for later. Something else to blame on Trump. If Biden gets elected, you know the economy will never be his fault, but Trump's. Even if they wanted the shut down that created it.

I'll sit until, A. I have a candidate who earnestly shares my concerns. or, B. my vote might make a difference in TN. Until one of those happens, I got better things to do.

It's not overly complicated in my view.....vote for the least evil candidate who advances your objectives.

I think you might find yourself surprised at the side of the issue you'd be on for something generating that type of protest in today's society.
