Latest Coronavirus - Yikes

Well... If you turn off location services and it doesn't actually disable GPS... That's between you and your phones manufacturer. And you can always opt out by not having a phone with a GPS.

We've basically traded privacy rights for the convenience of things like Google Maps already. I'm fine with it. Obviously I'm not okay with the government using that data to crack down or prosecute people, but we can cross that bridge when we get there. Too late to go back now.

But we can see the bridge from here , today , at this point in time . The signs are all pointing at it and saying “ You will cross this bridge “ . The whole op out thing .. we as Americans have the ultimate op out option , it’s against the law for the government to spy on us , yet they did it anyway . ( NSA data sweep ) Its never too late to tell the government and the largest intel gathering company on the planet to go kick rocks .

If you think that actually will make you "opt out" I have some beachfront property to sell you in Arkansas.
Most phones and OS are third party tested to verify disabling GPS, WiFi, etc actually does so.

Also, you can opt out in your Google account as shown here: Android 101: How to stop location tracking

And if you want to continue flat Earthing yourself in to thinking all of these things are lies and they are tracking you anyway (no evidence to support that), there's no law saying you have to have a cell phone.

Again... A bunch of ways to opt out. People don't do them, because as much as people rightfully complain about privacy issues, they actually like all the benefits of big data more.

Almost as bad as having an embassy attacked with multiple deaths and blaming it in a YouTube video. The buck stopped with Obama and liberals were outraged.
Well republicans cut security funding. Did you want Presiden Obama to fly in and protect the embassy? I mean how many investigations were there? All the investigations came to the same conclusions.
I thought it was Hillary's fault?

Immunologist says he has a possible cure for the coronavirus

...
"So what we have done is we've engineered neutralizing antibodies that go and block the virus. The coronavirus, if you were to zoom in on it, you would see a series, a ring of spikes, and it uses those spikes to invade human cells," Glanville said. "We've identified a series of super potent antibodies that block those spikes and therefore make the virus no longer infectious."
Glanville explained the power of antibodies, saying it helped during the Ebola epidemic.
"This is the thing that turned the tide against Ebola. The Ebola used to be a death sentence, about 50 percent mortality rate," Glanville said. "And then once a good antibody neutralizing solution was made, then I think 94 percent of people can walk away."
"So that transformed Ebola from a dangerous crisis to a manageable treatment," Glanville added.
The doctor also spoke about the advantages of antibodies over vaccines.
"We've also got antibodies to treat rabies. We've got antibodies to treat RSV in babies. Antibodies are used to for anti-venom. So this is extremely well-established platform technology. It has the advantage," Glanville said. "You can produce antibodies much faster than you can make a vaccine. And as I'd heard you mentioned previously on all that modeling, every day counts. We're venting an incredible amount of money out of our economy and risking lives. And so you want to have a medicine as quickly as possible."

Do you even military?
Trump wouldn’t even know about this Captain without the MSM blowup. If you think as CiC that he oversees every promo, reassignment or reprimand the military processes ....well, you’re just ridiculously delusional.
Trump had more involvement with the handling of cruise ships than with this, just seems odd.
When has a president ever been involved with where a cruise ship docks or who can disembark?
I guess unprecedented times bring about unprecedented actions.
This very will may have been one of those instances deserving of unprecedented action.

So wait Walmart’s new rule of limiting people in stores doesn’t make since. It says you can only have 5 customers per 1,000 sq ft of a store. so if your in a 200,000 sq ft store you can still have 1000 customers in at one time.

That makes no difference. Used to be able to remove the battery but they've stopped allowing that too. Only way is to not have the phone with you
Agree. Was going to say I highly doubt even turning off the phone while with you would keep you from being tracked.

I agree 100%. Those that think they can take advantage of a situation will. There is massive scams/fraud currently in disability and medicare currently.
The difference is they are putting the policing of the PPP funds totally on the banks. Can you guess why so few banks were up an running on the plan yesterday?

How do we verify it was used for the correct purpose and therefore forgiveable? - "Well get back to you"

You're going to give the banks back the money we're lending so we don't use all our capital, when will we be reimbursed? "Well get back to you"

Do we pull credit? If so does everyone qualify? "Well get back to you"

If we do something wrong, are the banks stuck with a loan that has no personal guarantee, no collateral and a 1% interest rate? "yep"

I was listening to something yesterday on national news about how Jerry Brown cut out a bunch of the Governator's emergency preparedness spending that would have bought masks and ventilators, among other stuff, and instead used the money for the train to nowhere high speed rail. The blame game can go on forever.
