Seems more and more people are gaining courage and quietly saying this may not really be that big of a deal, very encouraging
Sure. Why not.
As George Carlin pointed out, imagine how stupid the average person is, and then realize that over half of the people out there are more stupid than that.
You won't get those factored in for quite some time. Even when you do were the questionnaires answered honestly. My questionnaire is intrusive. I've become a data point.they need to report more precise facts -- how many have health issues and compromised immune systems ? How many with poor resp. systems have been life long smokers ?
I think you are panicking.Denial is not just a river in Egypt.
We just topped 1,000 dead. In fact almost at 1,100. That is all in, what, 14 days? The bulk in the last 3 days? 223 in the last day.
And the virus continues to spread, with the minimization attitude of Trump, his followers, and the like minded shouldering considerable blame for that phenomenon.
We are over 75,000 cases now. 7,000 of those reported in the last day.
Not that big of a deal at all.
WhAT??? Trump has guided the country through this mess, it's almost over. The new treatments are going to crush this thing, with a vaccine coming within a year-don't forget Trump pushed for the "new" drug treatment. We are getting close to spring time-LOTS of UV LIGHT is going to help. Thank you President trump. I like my doctor, thanks for helping me keep him.But people look to the President for some level of calm and a steadying hand, which you will never get from the current guy.
just asking you, since you are a nurse and you wont be sarcastic like alot of these posters -- should cigarettes and vaping be banned ?You won't get those factored in for quite some time. But those other polls that we are supposed to believe ( cue @BowlBrother85 ) which ones are the stupid ones ?

Given that some polls show bias, either by the manner of their questions (push polls) or questionable sampling, I prefer to look at clusters of polling.
The most current data I could find from RealClear Politics shows Gallup's number of 60 percent approval as a bit of an outlier. The average of the polls is just under 50%. In fairness to both sides, some of the polls considered date back a couple of weeks. Given how this has evolved so quickly we might need to look back at this in 2-4 weeks.

you act like the illiterate drug addict discovered the cure himself. He repeated what someone told him...yes, yes, and yes! These "new" drugs are kicking ass on the Red Chinese Bat Soup virus (commonly called the wooohooo virus), While the infection numbers may climb, the number death/number infected should drop HUGE. Looks like Pres. Trump was right again!! We're about to get a handle on this thing, and the economy should come back-big time. I wonder what the dems will attack Pres. Trump with next? You know those little, hate filled punks can't stop, it's not really their fault, their mama's had a lot to do with it.
Of course they understand what the fuss is about. The numbers arent going to dramatically shift. Social distancing is easy when you dont live in a city full or morons. The virus has not hit the red States strongly yet. Of and when it does, you'll see the numbers shift. Right now, a lot of people in rural parts of the country don't understand what all the fuss is about.

let me know when a scientist finds a cure for the common cold as well as alot of other diseases that dont have curesNo. I'm at the office. Being careful and using lots of sanitizer, but not doing anything panicky. I'm just paying attention and when Trump tells me one thing but the scientists and professionals tell me another, I tend to go with the advice of the latter.
Zinc, selenium, magnesium, calcium, vitamin D, C and B. Remember that for a proper immune system. Taken as directed, of course.

Only for the right though because....More encouraging news. Treatment used by a NY doctor on 350 patients and it was 100% successful:
