Well we don’t know what percentage of patients are getting this treatment at this point. However I will say I’m highly skeptical of those results too. Hope it’s true - but breathing restored in 3-4 hours? Hmm....

He moved ahead and did what needed to be done. I have no complaints as to how this has been dealt with in the federal level. It has highlighted defects in our federal gov that need to be corrected. Shutting down flights to and from China was a good idea. Flying people home who were positive with people who were negative was a major failure.
PCAST is an entity that has existed since 2003. Their charter was re-upped by EO last October. Science and technology is their specialty and they are specifically for situations like this for guidance and information. They haven't publicly contributed squat to this "crisis". We don't have any idea what they do in the background. Some satisfaction is they don't get paid to hold these spots on the board.

I think that it’s fair to use the Princess Diamond data as a case study.

I don’t think it’s fair to take deaths/cases and call it a mortality rate.

I already have, they meet one weekend a month and two weeks a year. Pre-paid with my tax dollars.

These "new" drugs are kicking ass on the Red Chinese Bat Soup virus (commonly called the wooohooo virus), While the infection numbers may climb, the number death/number infected should drop HUGE. Looks like Pres. Trump was right again!! We're about to get a handle on this thing, and the economy should come back-big time. I wonder what the dems will attack Pres. Trump with next? You know those little, hate filled punks can't stop, it's not really their fault, their mama's had a lot to do with it.

While we still have a lot to learn about this coronavirus, we know a great deal about the flu. You quoted a poster who either doesn't know how to interpret the data presented on the flu in the source material he referenced, or he is being intellectually dishonest. Either way, his statements about the flu are both wrong and not supported by the CDC data he referenced.
