So, what's the general consensus on store shelves today? Feeling like I could use some coffee, and some this and that?

You're a moron. Wow, so cool

Wars are fought because of fears of scarcity. Whether it be water, food, oil, money, etc. Economic collapse will not bring people together.

This isnt kumbaya summer camp.
Do you even understand the difference between bring the country together and and tear it apart and what the "individual"can do. If you shoot two squirrels, It's OK to give one away and not charge for the bullet.

Declaring that NY has a mortality rate of 0.5% based off these numbers is akin to claiming the recovery rate is 0% in NY. While both are factually correct based off this data, it is intellectually dishonest to believe either.
This is correct. As of now, the mortality rate is 0.5%, as more and more testing is done, this small number will drop-big time. Recovery rate is a difficult thing to put a good number on, as most that have/had the Red Chinese woohoo bat virus, didn't know, won't know they had it. There will countless numbers of people that had it, recovered and didn't even know it! The only "recovery rate" we will have will be based on those that we medically ID'd as having the virus to start with. This is quite common with some other medical problems.

Realistically, unless this madness with curfews and quarantines stops, the Average Joe's last chance to stock up will be next weekend. WIC/SNAP cards may not get recharged until April 1st. You have one weekend to get you needs before the liberals clear everything off a few days later.

And if you all clean off the shelves and April 1st comes around and we are still on lock down, that is when the civil unrest will begin.

I am all about the individual. One of my claims here is that it will take individuals to stop this nonsense. To end the insanity. The government and their followers will be the last ones to wake up.

Went to Kroger today near Memphis with the main goal being soap replenishment. Down to my last 2 bars.

Produce was available but picked at. Bread and meat was hit pretty hard. Canned stuff was almost gone. Frozen veggies and dinners were available but dwindling. Milk and eggs were just about gone. Bar soap was available but liquid was gone.

Coffee however looked like it hadn't been hit hard. You might be ok there.

Does anyone here honestly think that the cruise industry needs one dollar of help? Their ships aren't US flagged, their crews are 90%+ foreign and they don't matter to our economy if they go under. I'm guessing the banks are whining about losing money is the only reason they are considered for a bailout.
