Latest Coronavirus - Yikes

I think you are going to see a major manufacturing shift over this. “Just in time” inventory modeling is hugely problematic when dealing with supply issues. Manufacturing **** in China bc it’s cheaper is a huge problem. Hell they basically threatened to withhold medicine the other day. That’s an act of war IMO if carried out. I suspect you will see incentives/tariffs/laws that prevent this going forward. Can you imagine, in the middle of the Cold War 1970, saying here Russian here’s a ton of our IP and please produce this critical stuff for us? Hell no. Yet we did it.

I am not saying we shouldn’t manufacture **** in China. I am saying there are things we have no business manufacturing outside the US.

I could see this also but it will all depend on the election this fall.

So maybe I'm a bit loopy from lack of food & sleep as last night from around midnight to 9AM this morning I spent basically all night on the throne with a dishpan.

The strangest thought struck me as I was gagging...

If someone with coronavirus coughs or sneezes is that considered a Coronal Mass Ejection? 🤔🤪

I need sleep!

Thanks for sharing!

This is somewhat pertinent.

I swear I never would have taken you for one of the ones pushing hysteria. 20,000 people a year die from the flu here and no one ever panics. We are likely over 50,000 deaths per year from auto accidents and no one stops driving over it. I could go on but it won’t make any difference to the hysteria we are all going to die crowd

apples + oranges = nuts

Nobody wants to miss our sports, lose our paychecks and have to cancel our vacations. We certainly don't want to get sick/die or lose beloved family members/friends.

Just do what they say. Distance yourself, follow the guidelines and this thing will be over quicker. Temper tantrums over the inevitable just causes stress for everyone. ignoring what the experts are saying will just make this hell last longer.
Why do that when we can argue and blame this on the librulz?

I guarantee you they have increased, how much do you think there were in 1980? 1990? Today?
I'm not going to look it up because I don't care. But I believe percentage of accidents per miles driven have gone way down and percentage of deaths per accident is way down also. I dare you to go look it up.
