Of which 200,000 would die. And that's simply deaths caused by this in the most at risk group. It does not count severe, debilitating illnesses in the same group, or younger people who are also at risk for various reasons.

That's just twenty percent getting it, which might be conservative if we don't take steps to contain and mitigate transmission where we can.

Iranian Ex-President Ahmadinejad Demands WHO ‘Identify Lab That Produced’ Chinese Virus

Former Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad wrote a letter to World Health Organization (WHO) Director-General Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus on Tuesday demanding that WHO allocate resources immediately to find “the lab that produced, and the elements that spread” the Wuhan coronavirus, “as well as other centers that supported the biologic [sic] war.”

“Needless to say that transparent, public, and unbiased dissemination of information regarding the perpetrators of the anti-human crime is an important factor in controlling the anti-human weapon,” Ahmadinejad wrote.

“I have no doubts that with the public mobilization of the nations and governments, and the human society, the criminals will be isolated and this will immune [sic] the humans from the ill-wishers of transgression and hegemony,” he said.

Ahmadinejad wanted “those perpetrating a biologic war on nations” to be held accountable for the “heavy damage and costs” they have inflicted upon Iran “despite the sacrificial efforts of its medical, healthcare, and logistic staff in fighting the very wild and invasive phenomenon.”

Good luck and be safe, really. Like I said, concern is absolutely warranted.

However, I still haven’t seen anything from the cold hard worldwide numbers that is more alarming than any other outbreak we’ve seen in the last 20 years. If I’m wrong then the last laugh will be on me, but I’m not about to go stock up on toilet paper or whatever other ridiculous thing everybody is panic buying. I’m limiting my time in large crowds, washing my hands, and taking my vitamins. If I start to get sick anyway, then I will stay at home and treat this thing like I would the Flu.

If that’s a stupid narrative, then so be it. I still think after this is all over there is going to be a lot of people pissed off about how this was blown way out of proportion.

I read that they were there to do things like deliver groceries to people not leaving their homes so as to avoid infection. That hardly seems like a bad idea, nor a prelude to some wackadoodle alt right conspiracy Q nonsense. I know you will spin it that way, based on "possible." All you need for an airtight maybe.
