No more flipping off gifs I guess. :/
In other news, Uncle Joe wins Mississippi and Missouri. He might run the table tonight.

But the difference is that the EC and the Congressional set up in general helps prevent the big cities from enforcing their stupid laws and beliefs on everyone else in the countryWhat's that they say to Sherlock?
Cities have faced issues not faced by rural areas throughout world history.
Nothing new and nothing American.
I've already told you how that makes sense. The popular vote elections are state populations choosing state representation. The President is not chosen by a state to represent the state. He is chosen by all states to represent all states. So, the FFs chose the electoral college to prevent a few states from choosing the guy who will represent all states.
The Dem primary ended when the DNC told everyone to drop out right before STNo more flipping off gifs I guess. :/

He's chosen by state electoral college. That's what you want to change, remember? He’s not chosen by states, he’s chosen by citizens.
You keep saying this while proving yourself incapable of making a rational argument for the change you want, or why it's "inappropriate". (Changing the word you use doesn't mean you've established your premise.)Again, just because the status quo is the status quo doesn’t make it appropriate.
Just as the small town people shouldn't have their voices squashed by the city slickers in a statewide election?Exactly. The 2 million citizens in Montana, Wyoming, and North Dakota shouldn’t have their voices squashed by 10 million in California.
I'd argue that the State of Virginia is a glowing example of what can go wrong with an overpopulated area out voting 90% of the property area of a state. Many Virginians I know hate it there now and are looking to move.Just as the small town people shouldn't have their voices squashed by the city slickers in a statewide election?
Does the vote by a person in Nashville count for more, less, or the same as the vote by a person in Sneedville in statewide elections? Is that the way it should be?

Whatever we think of it now, it was one of the compromises that brought the states into agreement about a Constitution. It’s nothing more or less than that.Just as the small town people shouldn't have their voices squashed by the city slickers in a statewide election?
