3 opportunities in a HALF is ridiculous defense. Simple as thatYou said he ONLY had 3 opportunities. Did those come without a ball? Don’t remember taking any particular shots at his high school team’s defense. You’ve inferred that the whole schmebang (ceptin him) sucked and that his stats mean more thusly. Had no reason to dispute your account.
Well you’re answering all your own questions...is mine required? I’d dispute “extremely accurate”...back to the 49% and Worm Holocaust. His play spurred a turnaround spark...we had the blahs. But Pruitt’s move to go with Guarantano landed the remaining wins. As late as the bowl game, I cussed JG and wanted Maurer to come in...then he did and I got over it. And I don’t THINK you’re only here for an individual. You’ve unabashedly PROVEN it to me. Our conversations would be more open and honest if you’d admit it. I don’t even wear the Power T EVERYWHERE I go. That you claim to do so hints that you’re selling some smelly snake oil. That was a serious question. Is he more mobile than JG? Yes. Is he more accurate? Yes. Is he fully developed? No. What’s the problem with asking you if the TEAM would benefit given you THINK I’m only here for an individual?
The point about the uber talent arounf Bailey is, had he thrown many of those td passes to more pedestrian talent like most HS qbs have to, they wouldnt have been tds. Same with the yards totals, with out the talented guys he had on his team those totals would have been far less.
Yes we want our qb to throw to his best weapons. However the weapons on our team wont out talent every other defender they face...thus the hesitancy on the part of sane posters in announcing a young freshman as the next coming.
Not frustrated except you seem intent on mincing words rather than having a conversation. And no, I haven't "juxtaposed" any words on you. You said you think HB is the next most likely option if JG folds. There's no problem having that opinion. I just don't share it.We have a history and your portion of it includes the strategy of juxtaposing your words on me. If you read WITHOUT INFERRING AND IMPOSING then nothing you’ve surmised has been stated BY ME. And this is a discussion, so quit getting frustrated and desperate and using the old tired “triggered” crutch...it’s beneath you. So stop, kitten. The only QB candidate that can trot out EXPERIENCE in any significant quantity, is JG. And we know where you fall on that one. Let’s hope that it’s not an all or nothing REALITY unlike multiple other programs who’ve rode with 1st or second year options. Having a pretty good day...much better when you’re gasping for air.![]()

Regardless of who it is... this is absolute truth. For the record one of our most promising young WRs was a frequent target of HB's when HB was a junior in hs. HB will be okay when the coaches decide he's ready. Personally, the sooner the better, QB play has been less than optimum and that's being kind our QB position needs to quit being a question mark season over season, gamne after game, week after week, series after series, play after play.
I have admitted that BM is the reason I became a fan of the team. That’s on you if you can’t read between the lines. I’ve told you repeatedly that we’ve all became fans for reasons. A lot of us just born into it but others because of Peyton, Shuler or otherwise. For me BM was the reason to pay more attention to the program than I did previously and now I’m learning along the way. I don’t see the problem but you obviously have one with that.Well you’re answering all your own questions...is mine required? I’d dispute “extremely accurate”...back to the 49% and Worm Holocaust. No. We don’t. It’s a part of the game and a part of the position. You’re not always going to score, get first downs or have long drives. Especially after coming back from injury. That’s not the way it works for anyone. So we don’t need to cover the part where that would have rested the defense and started the comeback sooner. Good...one less thing!
And I’m not a fan of either the Colts or Broncos franchises...tho I still like them. I was all in for both...til I wasn’t. I don’t have a “problem” with you pretending your interest in our program is true fandom...I just recognize it and will continue to remind you that I don’t buy it. You simply have no long standing connection and will disappear. Hoping you expand your pretense to include recruiting, our history and other sports...enjoy efforts.I have admitted that BM is the reason I became a fan of the team. Abusing stats again I see.46.7 %
49% would be an improvement.
We’re in on bigger names...year after year. Need the same faces...year after year. For the record one of our most promising young WRs was a frequent target of HB's when HB was a junior in hs. Funny you say that because it helps prove my intent. Remember me telling you the rankings would look much different if true evaluations existed within the services? I’m currently working on doing just that on YouTube. Would you subscribe? And I’m not a fan of either the Colts or Broncos franchises...tho I still like them. I was all in for both...til I wasn’t. If they could only take the worst. “Without” that Bama play, how would JG’s season have improved?Abusing stats again I see.
But since parsing stats is OK by you... JG was 50% with 1 TD and 3 INT's in his last 2 games. Since Maurer's first two games EVER as a college QB in junk time vs UTC and UF... mean he "sucks" then it is perfectly fair to say that a RS Jr's last two games mean he sucks... right?
Maurer without those two games was 50% with 2 TD's and 4 INT's (one of which was a bobble by JJ on a perfectly thrown ball).... which still includes MU and IU when Maurer again had just a few plays.

Are you talking about RECRUITING? Hellz yeah. If it kicks the services in the nutz, I’ll forgive you your trespasses.Funny you say that because it helps prove my intent.
