2020 Primaries

No he won't. Biden is a stumbling, incoherent, mess of a human being. It's obvious to anyone that has witnessed dementia that poor ole uncle Joe has it, or at least the early stages of it. I feel sorry for the guy, but he doesn't need to be our president.

Don't think for one minute the Dems aren't setting up the party to use that. The Dems will have a VP selected that will be told to Biden who his mate will be. And it will be who they want in office that can't beat Trump straight up. If Biden wins, they will give him a little victory lap time, and then remove him for medical resons, and voila! This is not a conspiracy theory. This is a hunch that plays right into their modus operandus.

They dropped out to help Biden and hurt Sanders. So what? There is nothing wrong with that. It is more than appropriate.
Had some of the 16 repubs. been as respectful to the country in 2016, we could have avoided the whole Trump catastrophe.

Since Trump became President, how has your life changed in a negative way? Hurt feelings are not an answer.

Maybe I'm just being a Battered GOPer after being a Battered Vol fan for years...but honestly unless something major happens I don't see Trump beating Biden in the general
I dont see how he does. Biden inspires nobody to vote for him.

I dont remember Biden handling any pressure well this election cycle
, and he hasnt faced much. He is the biggest #2 in DC. Looks ok until you get him in the lime light and then he melts.

He does nothing to expand their base.

He will be a far better candidate than Trump. But I guess that's why they have elections.

So they did it only for the good of the party/country, altruistically, you say? They both did it at essentially the same time, before a make or break Super Tuesday. Before Klobuchar's own state voted. Why didn't they wait and do it after the results were in? You don't think they were approached, promises made, deals cut?

Trumpers loved it. No doubt. Non-Trumpers will not love those same types of attacks on Biden.

We shall see , if Bidens the candidate . Logical people , not emotionally lead people , we see him as ..he asked for it by running and barking at the truck and now he’s finally caught it .

I and everyone on this board that’s honest , believes not a single one of them besides Trump ( and only because he proved a bunch wrong ) could have beaten Hillary .
Do you understand the implications of what you are saying?
Why would Trump be viewed as a better candidate than the other 16?

I have serious doubts Biden can even handle Bern, much less beat him without the establishment cheating him out of it. There's no way he can deal Trump a joker.

Do you understand how disingenuous you are being by not giving a specific name of a candidate you think could have beaten Hillary ? Hell they couldn’t even beat Trump in the primaries. You act like they all ran for a week then quit . He ( Trump) beat their breaks off . Before he got to Hillary .

Nope. And Trump attacking someone as well liked as Biden will not play nearly as well as his attacks on Hillary.
Yeah, i don't think that goes over well. One of the things he is running on is ending the hate and being the President to everyone. If I was his coach, I'd tell him to let Trump be an ass, and just answer the questions without taking the bait. Trump's cruelty is not funny or cute, and most people are sick of it.

I'm sure they had daily, almost hourly discussions. They can do math.

That is such an absurdly insane right wing talking point.
Who is being kept from voting for Bernie if they wish?

Why? Do the Non-Trumpers believe he will be attacking a senile old man?

Trump won't have to. Biden will attack himself. All Biden has to do is try to get through "We hold these truhsbiasrbphasrnb. Well you know the thing."

Had there been 3 instead of 16, Trump would have been toast.
I really think Gabby will just fade away, and I have mixed feelings about that ... I like her but not her politics. Chief Liz isn't bright enough to realize somebody has already turned out the lights. They'll put up with Bloomberg ... comic relief. The interesting part is what happens when Bernie gets screwed by a political has been. I'm betting the odds are a massive heart attack (Clintoned) over a third party run if he doesn't see dim reason.

Even if she showed strong, it was her first time out nationally, so this was her test run. I think she is wise enough to polish and define herself and her politics, if she chooses to continue into 2024. The fading away she will struggle with because she gave up her post to run her campaign. She will re-surface as a made over Dem or a converted Republican, but will have to find a away to stay relevant enough to re-invent herself since she is out of work. I thought she was the Dems answer from the get go, but they were playing who's turn is it, and she didn't want to play that game.
I'm prone to weird thoughts from time to time, but I could get used to a Trump/Gabby platform. Not even realistic in fantasy land, but Pence on his own will be crucified - he has the curb appeal of a Bloomberg-Romney Frankenstein.
