All time offense

Ridiculous. I watched Seivers. He literally made three awesome catches against Clemson and one good one against Vanderbilt. He was the only real target on a team that was decent but not great. No way he was better than probably 75% of the WRs we have had since the mid 80s. Price, Nash, etc dominated actual top ten teams with elite NFL players not the likes of Kansas and a mediocre Clemson team
Price and Nash were the very definition of overrated. Especially Nash

I would put Manning, Robinson, Shuler, Clausen, Scott, Kelley, Cockrell, Warren, Fulton and Bray all ahead of him
fulton? Dear God. That’s just insanity to say. Fulton had 4 career TDs and 6 interceptions on losing teams. Dobbs has 32 TDs rushing and another 53 passing not counting the wins

Peerless Price was in 1998. Carl Pickens 1990s. Teague, Coleman and Clifton too.

What is your point?

If everyone is going to pick the same $#it then just copy and paste....

so you chose players to be different, not who you actually think were the best?

I would put the starting line ups for any of the TN offenses from 1989 to 1992 against a collecton of the all time greats at TN and they would be compairable. The collection of offensive talent we had at the time was ridiculous.

Yep... made Andy Kelly, who wasn’t a bad QB, look like a great QB. The running game from about 89-99 was ridiculous.

If Bray had come back for his Senior year he would’ve broke UT and SEC alltime TD passes record with 90+ and would’ve had a shot at the alltime yardage record

Bray was a great QB
He had great talent but great Qb’s do not throw beer bottles at cars.

Stats would be my last criterion because of the different eras. I loved Clausen too because of his play in big games. I still wouldn't put Dobbs in the top 10.

Something to consider: Dobbs was good enough to keep Jones from being fired two years earlier. You see what happened to the team when he left.

I'd put Robinson over Shuler or Clausen, but your list is fair

Fair enough on Shuler, didn't think about Robinson or Streater.

But I would only put Peyton above Clausen who was a super clutch QB against the big teams (AL, FL, GA, LSU, etc) and the best Tennessee Road Warrior QB by far!

You need to take off your blinders, Larry made a ton of one of a kind catches

Really too hard to pick an all time best , there is just too many candidates for me. Add to that the advance in medical, diet, and facilities.

Bray had a history of maturity issues. Robinson and Ainge were not great Qb’s.

Completely absurd ! Tony Robinson was an excellent QB, as talented as almost anyone to have played the position here. Kid had the arm to make any throw and the legs to scramble and get out of trouble. Robinson threw the deep ball better than anyone else to play here hands down.

I would go
1ST TEAM
QB- Peyton
RB- Lewis, Henry
FB- Bartholomew
WR- Pickens, Nash, Kent
TE- Witten, Rivera
OL- Davis, Coleman, Johnson, Suffridge, Clifton
PK- Hall
KR- Berry
PR- Gualt
P- ANYONE NAMED COLQUITT
2ND TEAM
QB- Clausen
RB- Webb, Graham
FB- Bryson
Wr- Price, Meachem, Stallworth
TE- Stocker
OL- Tiny, Trey, Wells, Fulton, Munoz

Webb was the best TB to ever don the Orange jersey IMO. Had he played a few years later when ACLs could be repaired he would likely have been a HOFer at the next level.
