The Official Tennessee vs. Texas A&M Game Thread, 6:30 PM ET, SEC Network

Often he was late switching it just slow to switch, this team switches horribly. Has been a problem most games and the better teams we've played have killed us with it too.

I was just using Fulkerson as an example though, he did not give us the worst effort rebounding by far but we must have him be more of a presence moving forward
I respect that and agree with you. He definitely needs to win more battles, but I feel like fans single him out as the sole reason for our rebounding woes when PFs are eating our lunch a lot too.

This game we basically needed him to get 20 rebounds for our team line to look respectable, and he just can’t bring that much there.

That’s true. I would say two, but yeah. But gosh this game was bad. Like really bad. Like I want those guys to ref high school games not in Tennessee bad.

If you are a P5 school coming off back to back top 3 seeds, you gotta do more than being in the 20s when you can sign a large class. We absolutely whiffed the 17 and 18 classes and its showing up now...

Bowden has NO business starting another game! Just let Vescovi get some experience. This years done anyway! JJJ is a bust!

Vescovi is a huge liability on defense, simply not quick enough to guard other guards in the SEC. Need some players with height AND bulk to bang away underneath, especially when the refs are letting them play physical.
This team has a lot of a holes (lack of size underneath, guard quickness and tentativeness among the freshmen) that is getting harder to mask as the season progresses. But it is what it is at the point in time

Sour grapes; we got OWNED on the glass. OWNED.

You blame the refs for this sh** performance, then you might as well blame them for every UT loss ever. No excuse losing this game.

I didn’t see the game, but I don’t really watch anymore because the officiating is terrible. I can’t stand the product. Sure, that’s partly our team, too. But college basketball has a real problem.

And this isn’t new. It’s been building like this for a while.

Yep, we whiffed badly.

Yeah, that’s what I’m saying too, I agree with you, should def have done better. Whiffed the 17 and 18, I think 19 is fine so far.

I see Tennessee winning one more game and that is Vandy. Might get lucky and win another we are not expecting. Post season is out of the question.

Don't count candy as a win. After tonight I don't see any sure wins. And you can believe candy will come out with a serious effort when we meet again.

The refs didnt largely whiff on 3 straight recruiting classes...
You hush your mouth so many things that Barnes couldn’t have foreseen happening is why we have this travesty of a squad!! Do you think he could have foreseen turner having to hang it up because of injury? I mean he has only been hobbled by the same injury for 2 straight years!! No way he could have tried to plan around that!! And then our stud 7 footer was denied!! I was told many times that that was a huge reason we are struggling this year!! Oh you mean that dudes on the team now and obviously was never going to be a big factor this year even if he was eligible at the beginning of the year? Well **** let me go diving into the UT bag of excuses and I’ll get back to ya.

Yep. Hes better suited to spotting up vs running the point. Problem is he's all we have right now. JJ isn't ready for this league yet. Gonna need a couple of years to get his feet under him. He was greatly over rated as a 5 star. No where close to that level yet.
