I’m no war monger, but these are some bad characters that past administrations have allowed to run wild for too long. I do like the fact that we’ve chosen economic sanctions vs military moves in the last couple years, but we’d all be naive to think they’d just sit and take it.

It is...their business model. And they have been known to do it before. The I-MIC exists because of war.

There are well studied and researched causes of extremism. Imo, we could help the region through economic cooperation, resources, infrastructure, education, stability, etc. When people tend to lack these, is when they are at their most vulnerable.
