I think the pre-snap reads is where he really falls on his face. If he was good at that he would be ready to throw the ball to his primary receiver immediately, and he never does. It's like he second guesses every throw.
not to argue, but when you listen to folks that know the position, you hear them more times than not talk about how he made the right read, just a poor throw. were at least 3 in the INdiana game, 1 being the pick six.

he has to see the target. he can't throw to the spot where the target is going....at least not consistently. i think he's gotten a lot better pre snap actually.
