How do we fire our scheduler?

Why are we playing Oklahoma next year? Why are we scheduling Oregon and Ohio State but dumping North Carolina?

Honestly!!! Alabama plays Duke and we play Oklahoma. It should be swapped.

We should play other struggling programs like us such as Nebraska, UCLA, Miami, Duke, Virginia Tech again, etc. I am tired of seeing us play teams that are going to drill us. Let Alabama, LSU, and Georgia schedule them.
I think we should fire the fans that don't want to watch good games during the regular season

We can't even beat ****ing Missouri. We are 2-5 against them since they joined the SEC. What makes you think we will do anything but get blown out by Oklahoma and get embarrassed on national tv?

I'll never understand the mentality of wanting to play lesser teams. Bring on the best with no injuries and no arrests, lol.

It is not that we want to play lesser teams. We want to play teams at our level and not Playoff Contenders. We already got Alabama, Florida, and Georgia on our schedule. We don't need another.

I'll never understand the mentality of, when already playing one of the hardest SOS in the nation year in and year out, wanting to add yet MORE top teams.

We don't need to. Look at Clemson, ffs. They have a cupcake-orama, year in and year out. They're in the playoffs THIS year again, against a horrible schedule.

Our schedule is already hard enough. I say that when teams like Clemson add 2 or 3 top ten teams to their schedules every year, we can start talking about upgrading ours.

To be fair to Clemson, it’s not their fault that the entire ACC sucks. They also did play 2 SEC opponents in aTm and USCjr, who also are not great, but that’s not their fault either. Texas A&M was probably the best team they played all year.

True, but my point is simply that we don't need to play any tougher of a schedule than we already have. Year in and year out, we have one of the consistently toughest schedules in the nation.

Anyone, any time, any place. Everything else is for losers.

Bama and UGA aint putting those type of teams on their schedule becuase its too risky to their playoff hopes. LSU and Auburn seem to be the only SEC heavy hitters who will play anybody anywhere. Im willing to bet Botch scheduled OU knowing he wouldnt be around to play them.

what an idiot...we are actually 3-4 against them (one got vacated), and we dont run from playing anyone

I agree that given our current situation a lower level P5 win is important to have on the resume. I think if you read the tea leaves and see what other rival teams are doing around the conference, they are really expanding their OOC schedules for the future in advance of an 8 team playoff. Most of the schools in the East already have a built in P5 rival, but UGA and UF are both adding big time OOC home and home series on top of FSU and GT. I’m interested to know what our strategy will be going forward scheduling. Florida and UGA are scheduling for the future Playoffs, Bama is too for that matter (@ Wisconsin) I think it’s important that we start adopting that same sort of mindset.
