According to the news story, there were 40 vehicles from 5 different jurisdictions chasing this UPS truck. With all of the technology we have (radio, helicopters, cellphones), is it unreasonable to think that all you needed were 2-3 cars in pursuit while the rest of the cops, in coordination with these other jurisdictions, could have been downstream and following the truck in a more casual and less aggressive manner that doesn't endanger the public with 40 plus vehicles in a full sprint in traffic?
