Don't care for Thamel, but I'm not getting why this is a bad take.
Edit: unless you just meant the whole "moral compass" and response angle. I do think that's stupid. He made a dog peeing gesture...against the bulldogs. Bringing morality into this is pretty laughable. He also derided OM for saying they would handle it internally. He goes on to imply they aren't already, 9 months in advance, talking about sitting him for their 2020 opener...because it's against Baylor. This guy some nuts loose in his head.
Imo Thamel should have to sit out all of 2020 for his DA Fulmer/Pruitt article. We made him look pretty dang foolish there. "The other SEC ADs are secretly laughing at Fulmer"...then our big 3 sports win about 20 straight games combined
