Everyone is capable of great and terrible acts. It's easy to judge a moment in time. Hopefully they learn from their mistakes like you did.

Must Watch: Mike Leach blistering a reporter after losing to Washington. Not sure if it's been discussed here, yet.

Apparently the guy's column has been extremely critical of Leach as a coach and person. The dude cover WSU and writes solely negative things. Like calling Leach a troll in a hit piece. Leach roasted him.

They have a real chance of beating Memphis at home, Wisconsin at home, and Cindy on the road. Just go 10-8 in conference, and we are there.

Not a pretty game, but there's also no shame in losing by 3 to #26 FSU either. Don't start the game down 2-14 or have 21 turnovers and that's a completely different game. I'm not sure how many teams have won games with 21 turnovers (many unforced). Beat ourselves tonight.

But the beauty of basketball is the season is all about progression. The loss is whatever, but we need to see progress and the last 2 games have felt like we have regressed a bit or are in a funk, offensively at least. Lots to work on and lots of time to do it.

The silver lining here is that there is something to be said about only losing by 3 on a neutral court after handing over a 12 point handicap from the start and having 21 turnovers. If you had told someone the game would begin 2-14 and we'd turn it over 21 times, most would bet their next mortgage payment that we lost by double digits. This team fights. It is a team worth really enjoying and following...an undeniable trait of the Barnes era teams.

Like I said...you are who you choose to be. I quit doing the stupid things I did, and living the garbage life I lived 21 years ago because I hated who I had become.

I don't think that is judging, I think that is calling a spade a spade. If you live like trash, you are trash until you decide to change and stop being trash...

People like to say now "I was born this way"..but I believe you are who you choose to be.

Don't care for Thamel, but I'm not getting why this is a bad take.

Edit: unless you just meant the whole "moral compass" and response angle. I do think that's stupid. He made a dog peeing gesture...against the bulldogs. Bringing morality into this is pretty laughable. He also derided OM for saying they would handle it internally. He goes on to imply they aren't already, 9 months in advance, talking about sitting him for their 2020 opener...because it's against Baylor. This guy some nuts loose in his head.

Imo Thamel should have to sit out all of 2020 for his DA Fulmer/Pruitt article. We made him look pretty dang foolish there. "The other SEC ADs are secretly laughing at Fulmer"...then our big 3 sports win about 20 straight games combined 😂🤣😂🤣

This basketball team is a work in process. They'll get it together.

It's weird. Barnes doesn't seem to care so much about these games. I honestly think he lets these guys do their own thing to prove points to his team. He doesn't really do much coaching during these types of games. He knows what he is doing.

I don't disagree with any of that. Especially that you are who you choose to be. I think it's basically semantics though. You said they're trash, which seems like a definitive statement that that's all they'll ever be. I know you don't think that though. I was just giving my perspective of prof's point.

The gators are monsters this year. Whoo. Beat Marshall by 6 points...in basketball...did anyone even know Marshall has a basketball team? Smh we are going to pummel those fools. Blackshear is going to regret signing with Mike White. He turrible.

Yeah, Thamel using one player’s dumb celebration to indict a whole conference of 14 teams is rich. Especially coming from a guy who used to shill for Urban Meyer’s Florida program.

It's almost like he's willing to take a loss in order to show the team that they are not as good as they think they are.

Man just look at the post about the BB game or players or coaches. I know its hard to see if your living in it. But once you escape outside you understand the shape we are in as a society. But people love the stuff.

These next 2 weeks could be huge for some CFB parity. Need LSU to beat UGA, Bama to lose or at least not win by too much, and Utah to beat Colorado and Oregon.

The dream scenario for me is Bama wins by 3 due to a terrible Gus decision, hot seat talk goes next level...Hardy flips...Bama and uga don't make the playoffs, leaving both fanbases riled up not making the playoff with their best QBs in YEARS during their prime season...Florida loses to an unpredictable FSU team...Utah wins it all...LSU, uga, bama, osu, clemson recruiting all tank and Pruitt reaps many spoils...dreamers can dream 🙏
