Just finished the game a few mins ago. I was wondering how we would look when we started facing a tougher schedule. Pons looks improved but we just don't have the points production we had last year inside. FSU geeez it looked that they were all so big and tall they took up the whole half court. Very sloppy guard play and passing. I do believe James will get better and I hope some of the bench really improve and someone steps up inside with some points production. I knew I would be spoiled after last year so I am going to keep reminding myself that its a long season and things could start clicking as the year goes. Tonight's game, was not pretty at all.

No you should have seen it. Ugly! real ugly and could never close the score any closer than 5 then back to 7 to 10.

Don't misunderstand me, I think they are both really good, sometimes even spectacular players..but they are going to have bad games...and when they do, we are going to look like tonight every time.

I think that's what the prof was trying to say. He wasn't defending the dumb ish those idiots were doing. He was saying that just because they did dumb ish doesn't make them trash. Just like you aren't trash because of the dumb ish you did. At least that's how I read it. And yeah, nobody agrees with what they did. It was bad. They should be punished. Especially the lady who ripped the box out of a child's hands. She needs some life lessons.

Dude if we win 20 with this roster..it will be an even better coaching job than last year imo...I will be ecstatic. I expect great things going forward, but not this year. I just wanted them to not look horrid this year...to just play overall good solid BB.

But I WAS trash....I already said that. You are what you choose to be. These idiots are trash, but it doesn't mean they can't change...heck, I am the poster child for that idea.

I get that, I’m just saying this is the first time they’ve had this kind of pressure in terms of putting out consistent high level performances. It’ll take them some time to adjust since Grant and Admiral carried the team most games the last two years.

Tulsa and east Carolina are the next 2 worst teams and they look like they're gonna be better next year. Then you have Houston and USF as the only other teams with a losing record and they have proven they're willing to pay a lot for a coach hiring holgorsen and strong. Strong may get canned but at least they're willing to invest. Any conference getting 7 teams to bowls is impressive though and shows better depth than a couple p5 conferences.

Would also like to point out that VCU-Purdue are 7-5 10 minutes into the game. There very well could be some visual/backdrop issues that are affecting shooters. That happens. When that happens, its probably the team that can finish at the rim that gets the win.
