I was in the navy during Hurricane Katrina as a helicopter rescue swimmer. We were sent to NOLA for S&R and while trying to save people from flooding, we were shot at by people looting a Walmart below. There's a portion of people who are degenerate ****ing animals and any chance they have to **** over their neighbor, they will eagerly take.

It was one of the dumbest things I've ever seen but arguing that suspension should even be an option let alone one OM will pass on because of the opponent is laughable. Suspension isn't how you handle something like this. Good Lord.

If he can see an NC with CJP one day, write with that anticipation as a journey to the promise land. Example: why nail Nigel's hide to the wall over his past? He's a 21 year old kid playing football, not a professional athlete making millions. What good does it do him, the team, the fan base or even David to go on the attack? A lot of the article was good, but the bad associated with it cancelled it out. Why say on here that if we disagree with his negative stories approach we are in danger of being in the "outrage groupthink" gang? How was that comment going to gain him and The Athletic more subscribers? Just take the advice from the posters since he is soliciting their business, thank the givers for their input, and move on. At some point, stop digging the hole deeper and change the approach.

I'm tagging @David Ubben so he can be notified of your post and hopefully read it. ^^This is constructive criticism.

He is a journalist, not a PR rep for the university. The reporting of news and how it is interpreted has become so twisted in this country over the past few years. It has nothing to do with the truth and everything to do with if what is being said aligns with the reader’s opinion.

Man just look what this board is turning into. Its getting like a cult of haters. They fooled me. I even thought some of them had a family. You know one with a wife and kids. I mean what kind of people with wife's and kids do this kind of stuff. It's like they are all from the projects. Slam you in a second if you disagree with them.

They used to be a pretty good bunch but almost all of them have turned sour. Wanting to punch people in the face ect. Actually this board doesn't belong to them. If there was shame anymore some of them would straighten up. I don't know how you can be a parent and come on a msg board and say some of these things.

I guess that is why some have left. They talk about the FF but this board is getting way worse than that.
FF board is way better than this place.

Imagine some of these people at a middle school ball game and things didn't go their kids way. SPORTMANSHIP. I think some of these posters have ran the good ones off. At least the ones who couldn't stand the language and hate dished out.

If people didn't feel like this was the only time they could buy something they wouldn't act this stupid. Truth is though they can still get these deals on a different day if they use their freaking heads. Of course, a lot of these folks don't have much in the way of brains to begin with but still. Fighting each other and then that one where someone snatched a box out of a child's hand. Good Lord.
