Been away for a couple of days---- any updates or news worth repeating on injuries? Is it still just Wright out and Taylor dinged up? (besides the JG surgery on hand)

Peyton’s last game as a Vol against Nebraska? We go into halftime solidly in the game. Vol fan watching the game tells me “ watch this! Nebraska goes into their locker room and Osborne’s crew will make adjustments. We won’t...and they’re going to wax us second half!” Young know it all butchna scoffed very heartily...then watched it happen. 😔 Coordinators were Cut and Chief.

He was getting manhandled by Trey Smith all game.

He put together some great Draft tape for himself on Saturday.

There actually any proof Chaney is "basically OL coach" now? Beyond he was yelling at some OL one day during 10 minute media show practice? Can't think of any OC that has time to also coach up 8-15 kids in 1 group full time. Nor would that be efficient for the entire staff.

Seems Occam might say maybe we just grew up from a bottom 15 OL in year 2, better s&c, recruited 2 5*s, and hey maybe Friend actually knows what he's doing. Or do Pruitt and Richt not know what good coaching looks like o_O

IMO it’s one of the best performances of a VOL in recent memory. It had quantity and quality (the bobble catch, the catch and hit back of end zone). The rushing from the wildcat didn’t get big numbers but they were productive. Heck he even had a pass completion if Kennedy didn’t drift down field. Great game.

Chaney’s doing what he did at UGA. No one called him “basically OL coach” for some odd reason. 🤔

He had a completion to Calloway (throwing as a WR on a reverse) on the second play, following his 10 yard rush on play 1.

Coach David Cutcliffe begs to differ with you use to do it all the time as OC.

Chaney spends most of practice with OLmen. It’s not the the OC or DC is just in his office during practice. Ansley spends majority with DBs. It’s no different than cutcliffe spending bulk of time with QBs or Chavis with LBs.
