Same Casey Clausen that was a 61% with 9707 passing yards in his career with 75 TDs to just 31 INTs...who in his 4 seasons here went 34-10, and only lost a single road game in his career here? The same Casey Clausen who had 3 seasons with 2200+ passing yards, and never threw for 10 INTs in a single season?

If Houston & Davis had been a bit better and Clausen had some real WRs to throw to after we lost Wilson & Stallworth...We went 11-2 with Stallworth & Washington and Casey had his best season as a Sophomore, then Kelley vanished basically...and didn't have any real "dogs" at WR for the last 2 seasons with Casey here.

Imagine is Clausen had Jennings, Calloway, and Palmer...

Pruitt knows. He said that last year in the middle of the year we had some big wins, but we didn't finish. This year we have to finish.

Hopefully history doesn't repeat itself. Team is playing with fire right now. This is the part of the rebuild where you either take the next step or stay stuck in neutral. Really need to win out to get over the hump and hopefully start a run

Vandy has something like it for baseball. Except it's not for walkons. It's a foundation that raises money that allows them to offer more than the allotted scholarships.

It is for walk Ons and for ALL
Students

They meet the full financial needs of every single student.

That can’t ever work in football and hoops because you can’t use that kind of aid in just those two sport if the player is a recruited athlete

I can 💯 see this

Charlotte last year and GA State this year. I know what you’re thinking but this is a risky bet

I know the staff won't treat this the same as Georgia State. I hope and think our players are still hungry enough to come out and play hard from the opening whistle. I still expect a reasonably close game. None of our remaining games are going to be easy, IMO.

It honestly should not be allowed for any sport that offers scholarships, IMO.

One thing that needs to be said: This SC DL pushed GA's all everything OL around 2 weeks ago. They were all over Fromm and GA had no answer. Our OL pushed SC DL around easily on Saturday. We owned them at the line of scrimmage.
Just gotta keep recruiting those big guys. The trends seem to suggest that if you get good OL and DL players the rest falls into place.

Kelly Washington, Donte Stallworth, and Jason Witten weren’t too bad. We had a pretty good year with them in 2001.

When a TE who never went over 500 receiving yards is your primary target, that's not a positive.

And I love Jason Witten, but he left after his big junior season. Casey's junior year was rough man, Kelley only played in 4 games can't recall if injury or dismissed but he never played here again after the Georgia loss.

So in 2002 when we went 8-5 the leading receivers were Witten (493yds), Tony Brown (477 yds), Washington (443yds in 4 games), and Montrell Jones (306 yds)...keep in mind the rushing game was atrocious by Fulmer era standards too Houston at 779 and Davis at 569 was a far cry from the production of Henry/Stephens in the first 2 seasons Casey was QB.

In before Brady Hoke responds in all caps...
Not sure if this got brought up over the last day-and-a-half, but it was mentioned by a caller on Basilio's post-game show. Hoke kicked him off the team because of that rant that he posted because they wouldn't let him play against Vanderbilt. Now, I understand the passion Jennings has for Tennessee, and it warms my heart to know that he was willing to lose his medical red-shirt to play in that one game to try to help us beat Vanderbilt.

But, if they had let him play, he wouldn't be here this year. And, in addition to what he's meant to this team and this season, I think most would agree that Jauan's made himself some money this year. That decision by Hoke (not to let him play against Vandy) is paying huge dividends to this season and to Jauan personally.
