I don’t think he was hurt last night. I think he played a little drama queen by taking his own helmet off and the training staff had no choice but to yank him.
JMO but I think that’s why Pruitt was frustrated
What?!? Lol stop, just stop
Hey y'all. No idea why that tweet has people so mad or feeling like I'm "trolling" fans. There were about a million things that didn't go Tennessee's way. It's what I thought a very clear reference on the game. It's not a comment on any fans in any way and I'm legitimately floored anyone took it that way. I wrote about a handful of the most impactful missed calls after the game.
Anyway, hope y'all are well. Enjoy the rest of the season and thanks for reading and subscribing.
You know Muschamp will.People tend to assume a concussion any time a player takes a head shot. And sometimes, it is. But UT trainers will take a player's helmet and sit him if the player seems at all dazed or has a headache. UT is cautious, and that's the right thing to do. CJP probably will address Maurer's status in tomorrow's presser. Since they took his helmet, he's probably in concussion protocol again... which may be precautionary or may be something more.
You have to wonder, though, if opposing teams will make it a strategy to try and knock Maurer out of the game, knowing we have backup issues? Some guys might consider that worth the penalty... assuming a flag is even thrown.
I'm thinking of doing a cutup video this week of all the questionable ref calls or no calls. Seems you all already have a laundry list by heart.
Please post questionable calls by game clock, down and distance, and quarter, if possible. Or as best as your memory allows and I'll track them down.
Does anybody know what Pruitt yelled at JG coming off the field? Looked something like "Don't you EVER..." JG kept on walking right past him, causing Pruitt to move with him and grab the facemask to get him to listen. I'm actually more concerned by a QB not listening to his HC when he just made a colossal mistake and could learn something from someone who knows a lot more than he does.
at the worst, Bama should have had the ball on the one yard line with an inexperienced quarterback. No one really knows. Their ends don't crash so hard if we pull out for a handoff. People acting like defense would react the same as an obvious qb sneak. But we certainly had more chance than that crap
Would like to see the vertical view ESPN showed last night. Looked like they crashed at snap and then Trey dominated the end.No one really knows.
