I don’t think he was hurt last night. I think he played a little drama queen by taking his own helmet off and the training staff had no choice but to yank him.

JMO but I think that’s why Pruitt was frustrated
What?!? Lol stop, just stop

I think that’s exactly what happened. I said as much last night in real time.

Maurer has to stop taking his helmet off and writhing around all over the place if he wants to stay in these games after taking a shot.

Pruitt probably told him his hands were tied and had no choice after the way Brian displayed out on the field.

@David Ubben you sir can suck it

@David Ubben...You are a piece of garbage. You had most of this board respecting you...simply for being fair..unlike the rest of your Knox media herd of turds...and then..you decided to take a dump on us.

You know what...SCREW YOU! You money grubbin low life 🤬🤬🤬

Hey y'all. No idea why that tweet has people so mad or feeling like I'm "trolling" fans. There were about a million things that didn't go Tennessee's way. It's what I thought a very clear reference on the game. It's not a comment on any fans in any way and I'm legitimately floored anyone took it that way. I wrote about a handful of the most impactful missed calls after the game.

Anyway, hope y'all are well. Enjoy the rest of the season and thanks for reading and subscribing.

You're a funny guy.

People tend to assume a concussion any time a player takes a head shot. And sometimes, it is. But UT trainers will take a player's helmet and sit him if the player seems at all dazed or has a headache. UT is cautious, and that's the right thing to do. CJP probably will address Maurer's status in tomorrow's presser. Since they took his helmet, he's probably in concussion protocol again... which may be precautionary or may be something more.

You have to wonder, though, if opposing teams will make it a strategy to try and knock Maurer out of the game, knowing we have backup issues? Some guys might consider that worth the penalty... assuming a flag is even thrown.
You know Muschamp will.

I'm thinking of doing a cutup video this week of all the questionable ref calls or no calls. Seems you all already have a laundry list by heart.

Please post questionable calls by game clock, down and distance, and quarter, if possible. Or as best as your memory allows and I'll track them down.

Just post the whole F'ING game.

Does anybody know what Pruitt yelled at JG coming off the field? Looked something like "Don't you EVER..." JG kept on walking right past him, causing Pruitt to move with him and grab the facemask to get him to listen. I'm actually more concerned by a QB not listening to his HC when he just made a colossal mistake and could learn something from someone who knows a lot more than he does.

Makes me mad..I can’t stand to look at him.im calling a Audible Uppercut to his ******* Chin if I see him partying on the strip enjoying himself.

It blows my mind that JG thought he could stick the ball over the top on a play that was blocked in a way that would virtually make it impossible to do so. The whole point of the play called was to wash them into the middle of the line, and he tried to stick it over the top in the middle of that scrum.

No one really knows. Their ends don't crash so hard if we pull out for a handoff. People acting like defense would react the same as an obvious qb sneak. But we certainly had more chance than that crap
at the worst, Bama should have had the ball on the one yard line with an inexperienced quarterback.

Would like to see the vertical view ESPN showed last night. Looked like they crashed at snap and then Trey dominated the end.

Crouch is 240lbs.... getting a chance as a true Frosh to score on Bama at the end of the game... he gettin in!!

totally random, but if I'm John Kelly, I'm trying to get released to play for another team... talent wasted... not as good as Gurley obviously, but should definitely be in the rotation somewhere...

Someone posted it a few pages back. They didn't crash, Wanya and the end stone-cold whipped 'em to pin the edge, and Trey pancaked the remaining defender. It's entirely possible the not only the Crouch walks in, but he would have followed a FB with no one to block. That overhead shot showed that Bama sold out to stop the sneak with their alignment, which makes JG's decision even dumber.
