If true, my question is why? To get the penalty? Seems he wouldn’t have the whole team’s respect if he was such a “drama queen” as suggested.

Was in the fire Pruitt camp early in the year because I felt he wasn’t the same coach we hired. The fire looked gone.

The last two weeks, he has been different. He has looked like a football coach fighting for his team and not accepting boneheaded miscues. Still think we are two years from a real chance to win against Bama.

If he continues, we have a long term coach. He needs to keep that intensity to get us back to top 10 status. Future on D is very bright.

It helped that a few players have left since Ga St

Don't agree with him being a drama queen. If he had a neck strain the week before then I'm sure that play hurt a good bit.

I don't think it was concussion related and Pruitt was frustrated that something that really isn't serious is forcing our best player at QB to sit.

With Maurer in and even slightly biased officiating I am convinced we win that game.

Time to get Jennings ready at qb imo. Let him and Shrout split reps, run some wildcat/ RPO stuff with Jennings and let Shrout throw some deep stuff if Maurer can’t go. I think Maurer was precautionary, hope to hear he’s ok

If he hands it off and doesn’t get it, our thoughts on him the morning are different. Would actually think he did an OK job, considering skill set, other than the whiff to Jennings.

We played inspired, great football last night against Bama and a pack of Zebras and after the first drive (which was a debacle) we took the fight to them and didn't play scared and didn't roll over, which is a HUGE step in the right direction for this team, even handicapped with JG the second half. I think everyone that didn't have Crimson glasses on last night could clearly see this was about a 1TD game or closer... The refs screwed us out of so many points/TD potentials, it would be scary to think what would have happened if we had even half of them...

The Maurer injury I think is more of a neck thing and hopefully not a concussion thing.

Hopefully recruits took notice that we played toe to toe with the #1 team in the country for four quarters and just got screwed by the refs all along the way.

Need an injury update ASAP... We will see what happens with Maurer, we know Bituli will be back, but can't remember or didn't see anyone else specifically get hurt or come off the field... Hopefully we get some great news on this front today...

I didn’t wake up disappointed, I actually woke up happy about the future. We have the right coach, it’s just the inconsistencies he has to work out. After last nights game, I 100% believe in Pruitt. A recruiting class or 2 and we will be back. I don’t care what anyone says we should have won. JG is making a case for worst QB in SEC history, but luckily we will have Maurer, Bailey, Hill. Our QB room gets much better next year...potentially. Should be a much better competition then years past. Time to move on and kick SC’s ass next week. GBO!

Look it was pretty clear by watching the replay he wasn’t hit hard.

I think when he took his own helmet off the training staff had no choice but to pull him since he hadn’t finished the previous two games

If a few players are sabotaging your team, then it doesn't matter what play or plays are called, they just aren't going to execute. It only takes one, but I think we had a few too many bad apples. Team and coaches look so much better.

If that was a concussion Maurer wouldn't have come out of the tent so quickly. The muscles in his neck are strained and they are being cautious.

Hope Emerson is fine. He has been playing great.
