I think the team is done with JG and so are the fans. If you trot him out, the team will get down and you can’t have that. You have to give Shrout as many reps as you can in case Maurer can’t play. Everyone is done with JG. Unfortunately he just doesn’t have the it factor and is a loser. We don’t need that near the team when they are starting to believe they can win against anyone and are playing with confidence. I’m pretty sure we can get field goals with Shrout which is all JG gets us.

Thank you for bringing info like this. Do you feel like last night was legit concussion or more likely protocol due to hurting the previously injured neck.

Also, have you seen anything out of Shrout to justify not having faith in him and giving him reps?

We're not in Kansas anymore :):). When I was in high school, in the mid 60's, I had a teacher whip my ass with a baseball bat that was made into a big paddle {with holes drilled in it}. That world was a long time ago. Let someone try that in today's world :cool::cool::cool::cool:.

That's a huge relief. Thank you! BTW, do you think these last two games have showed some promise to recruits? I know we have a LONG way to go but we have gotten better every game

Come on Bruin. Kids a freshman. IMO he's really going to be a good one. You must have missed the good plays he he contributed to. The O line as a whole is improving. Kennedy has just shot up the charts as far as improving is concerned. Wright saw some of the best play against him last night. You only improve when you play against some of the best in my book.

What are your thoughts on Saban playing jeudy after he was knocked out on the field? Is that ok? And where has it been stated that Maurer was for sure concussed for times? Looks more like a neck stinger or injury.

Does anybody know what Pruitt yelled at JG coming off the field? Looked something like "Don't you EVER..." JG kept on walking right past him, causing Pruitt to move with him and grab the facemask to get him to listen. I'm actually more concerned by a QB not listening to his HC when he just made a colossal mistake and could learn something from someone who knows a lot more than he does.

Sounds like a Butch coddled player who thinks he can do no wrong and there are no rules for him

Pruitt is finally growing into the HC position. It’s just taken longer than I hoped. I also hope this is the turning point for the program.

I got drunk, slept it off and still am just as pissed at JG. Even more pissed at JG than I am the refs. This mofo has a 22 inch vertical and tried to go over the top. I can't believe I ever thought this dumbass was serviceable. Take your ball and run the Rutgers please. No more yankee QBs for me plz
