Pruitt made uga a top program... he can at UT also

Did I say it was you or just the general idea on this board? Since you can provide nothing but insult having a conversation with you is pointless.
It would appear that I'm as bad at posting on a message board as Pruitt is at coaching.

At least I'm consistent. All the nuthuggers will be dog cussing Pruitt the moment after we send his sorry ass back to Alabamee.

Lol, and it won't change one damn thing. You keep swinging from the sak of coaches that will never coach here and eventually they're gonna rot off. Half dozen of one, 6 of the other.

So ONE game cost Richt his job ???

Wow , and also please explain why Saban after smartt left for the uga job said that Pruitt was by far his #1 choice and the first guy he called. Will hang up and listen
One game didn't cost Richt his job, but Pruitt also wasn't responsible for Richt winning 10 games. Richt had 10 win seasons before Pruitt ever arrived.

No he is only responsible for bringing the #86 D the year before he arrived to the

#16 his first year and number 8 the next year. But you are right that wouldn’t help win any games at all right? Patiently waiting

Lol...you do realize that the default order of that list is ranking the defenses by 'points allowed per game' not 'total defense', right? Georgia's total defense was not 89th in CFB in 2013.

Try again.
Lol so now points allowed ( you know the ONLY single real stat that REALLY matters) is not a good thing for one to go from 86 to 16 to 8. Apparently this is not a good thing .. who knew please go on and tell us how awful this is , I am all ears.

It is when you consider what we have to work with.

And that would be top notch facilities, incredible recruiting budgets, high staff salaries and ext. So no, being in competition for the east every year isn’t an unreasonable expectation.

Hell, just winning an SEC game would be an accomplishment this season.

Sorry, that is just laughable to me. How much he's being paid has zero effect on his performance, and as I said the other day, it sounds as if he was making 50,000 a year you'd be fine with him.

You completely miss understood. I didn’t have a problem with him being hired, Fulmer overpaying with an unreasonably high buyout is what I had a problem with. It’s an example of Fulmer’s lack of experience.

You seem to be struggling.

Team ranking by 'average points allowed' =/= Team ranking by 'total defense'

If anyone ranked defenses solely by average points allowed, Louisville has the 2nd ranked defense in the country in 2013 because they held a bunch of crap teams to low scores.

This is good for you though, keep trying.

That staff salary wouldn’t be available in my opinion.

So you cherry picked Louisville, did FSU at 1 or Alabama at 4 or South Carolina at 12 not fit your Pruitt bashing agenda? Either way he took a D from 86 to 16 to 8

No, I didn't misunderstand, I just took it as face value.

My problem from the beginning with the Pruitt hire was that we severely overpaid and have a lopsided buyout for a 1st time HC. Fulmer could have gotten Pruitt for 2mil or less.

I'm disappointed right now with Pruitt's performance and I'm hoping that changes soon and he can turn this around, but I'm not blind, it doesn't look good. Today. But I don't care about how much he's making.

No, I chose Louisville because the defense was ranked in low 20's in spite of them being able to hold powerhouses like Ohio and Eastern Kentucky to 7 points, and not 2nd which is where they would be if total defense = average points allowed. FSU was already ranked in the top 5 in total defense.

You can repeat the lie that Georgia's defense was ranked 89th over and over again, but it still won't make it true, no matter how many times you repeat it. I'm sorry if you've predicated your faith in Pruitt's abilities on that fallacy.

Jeremy Pruitt leaving UGA, and Kirby Smart let him go

“Pruitt, 41, has been Georgia’s defensive coordinator for the past two seasons. The Bulldogs’ finished eighth in the nation in total defense this past season (298 ypg) and also were No. 1 in pass defense (146.1 ypg), second in red-zone defense (.645) and 10th in scoring defense (16.9 ppg) this season.”

“But Pruitt’s defense struggled in games against quality opponents. The Bulldogs faced only three SEC teams with winning records this season — Alabama, Tennessee and Florida — and Georgia gave up an average of 437 yards and 34.3 points in those games. And Pruitt was a source of dissension not only within the athletic department, but within the coaching staff. Some members of Mark Richt’s staff told the former head coach they weren’t staying if Pruitt was retained”

Nobody on this board had any reason to question this at the time, but now that he's on our payroll.....nuthuggers.

That's sorted to be for scoring defense. He's talking about total defense. They were mediocre in passing and rushing defense though (50s or 60s) and near the bottom in turnovers forced (115).

In 2015, they were 8th in points allowed at 16.9 pg. First in pass yards allowed. 41st in rush defense, 7th in total defense. They did move up to 47th in turnovers forced aa well.
